Great accessory for Thomas the Tank Engine wooden train set fans. Little ones love the cause and effect of putting the train in the tunnel and getting one of four sounds to respond. So maayybe better for your nephew/niece than your own house (heh heh).

The sounds coming from this tunnel are so real! My 3 yr old grandson sends his trains through the tunnel numerous times to hear the many sounds

I sent this to my grandson to add to his Thomas the Tank Engine extended layout. He's quite the track layout architect. The tunnel makes train whistle sounds and replicates the sound of a train rushing down the track. Every time I call him the first thing he says is, "Grandma, I love the tunnel you sent me!" I'm a happy grandma!

Offert à mon fils de 4 ans en complément de circuits style brio il y a plus d'un mois.Le tunnel est vraiment bien. Il a beaucoup de succès avec les enfants.Bouton pour bruit très apprécié et dès qu'un train passe cela déclenche un son.Il a l'air costaud (la petite soeur de deux ans l'adore également).Je trouvais le prix élevé pour "juste" un tunnel, mais je ne regrette pas quand je vois comment il sert.

What a great toy! Brio knows how to make train toys that is for sure. It is very sturdy and well made. my son and daughter love pressing the yellow button to make sounds and they really enjoy making playmobil men climb up the rock stairs to cross the bridge and slide down the other side.We have automatic trains from brio so they love to set it up and watch the trains go through the tunnel and they really enjoy the sounds it makes.I wish i had done all brio for the train table instead of Thomas.

Questo tunnel della Brio è davvero molto bello! Quando un treno ci passa dentro si attivano dei suoni che cambiano ogni volta. C'è il rumore del treno con tanto di fischio, il gufo, il rumore degli operai che picchettano... mio figlio di 4 anni ne è entusiasta e non fa altro che farci passare i suoi trenini per sentire i suoni! Consigliatissimo!

This is a great, affordable accessory to any wooden train table (I have a Kidfraft). This tunnel is NOT too loud as others have reported. Perhaps Brio corrected that or others received a problematic lot, but the volume is perfect and I would not even describe it as very loud. I actually wish it were louder because the sounds themselves (a locomotive, truck horn, owl hooting and men working) are all (more or less) loud noises themselves. The cave has steps on it which is great for toddlers wanting to 'role play' with small figurines (this does not come with any but any small figure will do - I also purchased the safari crossing, another cool Brio accessory and that came with a small figure which can be used with this). The bridge moves up and down manually - I couldn't tell from the illustrations if it lifted when the button was pressed - the button activates the noises - as does the sensor on the tracks when a train passes through). Maybe I am living vicariously through my children with their train table, but I definitely recommend this product.

My 2 year old daughter really loves this tunnel. I purchased the Brio Adventure Tunnel to go along with a Thomas Wooden Railway set I purchased her. The tracks of both brands are fully compatible. She really enjoys pushing trains through the tunnel and it is her favorite piece of the train set to play with.The tunnel makes 4 different sounds as trains or cars go through the tunnel. The sound effects can also be activated by pressing a button on the top of the tunnel. One small issue is that some of the Thomas trains do not activate the sound effects every time they pass through the tunnel. However, this only happens with a few individual engines that may have slightly different dimensions than the other trains and it happens so rarely that my daughter does not notice. The sound effects are not too loud as several other reviewers mentioned. The sound level is perfect in my opinion.Visually the tunnel looks great and it feels very well made. I am very happy with the quality and will buy more Brio products in the future.

Lo que me gusta:- La calidad de los acabados que es muy buena.- Tiene tres tipos de sonidos, que puedes hacer sonar pulsando un pequeño botón amarillo en la parte superior o cuando pasa un tren..- No es demasiado ruidoso.- A mi niño de casi tres años le tiene alucinado.Lo que no me gusta:- No caben trenes demasiado altos, aunque sólo nos ha pasado con un tren de otra marca.- Me hubiera gustado que fuese de madera y no de tanto plástico.Lo compré por algo menos de 25€.

Albeit a little pricy, but, the quality is good, much better looking then the Thomas the Train stuff. My son loves the noises as the trains go through, he like the tunnel and the style. Brio always does a good job, guess you get what you pay for. What I don't get are the steps going up and the bridge? Suppose kids with an imagination like it. I'm glad I bought it for my sons.
