This boat arrived early! I was pretty excited and decided to assemble it right away. Despite my age and constant attack by mosquitos I had the boat out of the box , fully assembled and inflated in a little more than 1/2 an hr. My observations:Shipping box is heavy. You'll need helpTwist the little pins in the valves to make sure they are sealed before inflatingFootpump is cheesy and squeaky but worksInflate to 40% and floor assembly will be easyTake a moment to center and flatten the inflatable keel before putting floor inFloor panels are a bit heavy. Make sure the sides line up with each otherThe final "tent" move to flatten the floor was super easy. Watch the panel alignment.Align the floor side supports with the black reinforced patches on the side tubesInstall the seats before final inflationEasy peasy and I like the results. Boat looks tough. Tohatsu 9.8 is set to arrive next week, so we'll see how it goes then.UPDATE: Got the Tohatsu and I'm super-happy with the way this thing goes. Easy up onto a plane and tracks straight and true. Took it to a picnic about 3 miles up the river and it was a smooth easy ride. Beached/relaunched without issue. My son is a really big guy at 6'9" 400lbs. This boat handled him, his sister and me along with a fuel tank, an 85lb motor and a picnic basket.

Seats slide too much on the dingy and the pump has no pressure gage to set the correct pressure.

Here is what I have to say after 3 years of owning this. This boat is priced reasonably however if you realize that it will disintegrate in 3 years right around the time the factory warranty stops, then go ahead and purchase it. See the picture I have included for this review. Upon me contacting the seller and the manufacturer they claimed is was damage. This is not the case, the aluminum floor pieces have rivets that are located on the bottom of the floor. These rivets wore right through the bottom along with the rail that attaches the aluminum floors together. The boat was maintained perfectly and unfortunately i did not notice the defect until it was to late. So since they are unwilling to even answer my emails at this point, I would not recommend this boat to anyone. Spend a little more and get something that has a good track record.

Price is reasonable but if you have to buy it every year, might now go with better/more expensive option

. The dinghy is very sturdy and well built but the instructions are TERRIBLE for assembly. It took us almost 2 days. Since it is well made, it is HEAVY - it takes 3 people to carry it down to the beach which is flat and not a long distance. My husband loves the aluminum floor as he can easily stand and get into our bigger boat. The oars are a little short - would like them to be about 2-3 inches longer. But having a keel really helps in keeping the boat going in the direction you want. Pretty happy, overall. Just need a third person to get down to the beach!!

My wife bought this for me as a surprise birthday present. I had a tiny one that was horrible to row, leaked air and made it a real pain to get to our boat. She enlisted the help of a nautical friend to pick it out. I'd say they hit a home run. They knew I would not want a wood floor and they were right. This floor is very substantial aluminum. I am impressed. I put it together myself in about an hour so as to be careful to make it right the first time. As with many Chinese things, they don't bother with detailed instructions when instructions would really be helpful. Having just the right amount of air in the tubes makes putting the floor in easy, but too much and its a no go. Too little and it won't hold as well. There is a top and a bottom and the only difference is the edge is angled to fit the tube. I have used it for several weeks and it is great so far. Hasn't leaked any air even thought it says leaking is acceptable! It rows well for an inflatable, it very stable and seems heavy duty. It gets tied up right next to a few others with famous brand names and it has even better oars and looks just as nice and rugged. Its seats are adjustable forward and backward while others have only one spot. Overall I am very happyUpdate 9-2020: it’s been about 2 years and I am just as happy with it. I used a 2.5hp outboard all year and that made it even easier. Just last week I put on a 9.8hp four stroke and with my wife and I onboard it planed easily, handled well and was fun to zip around in. We plan on putting it in our enclosed trailer with bikes for outings to vacation destinations. The only negative so far is the hand grips on the oars both split and now they fall off. Perhaps the Chinese “forgot” the UV stabilizers. Still a good boat and I will replace the grips.
