After my cat's surgery we put this one and it helped her heal. It is easy to put on and take off. Easy to clean after use for the day. It made a huge difference in recovery time. I am very happy with it.

Seems like it would work well. My kitten just got spayed and I had gotten a small size ahead of time, but it was too small. So I ordered this in medium. but by the time it came, I realized I didn't need it. She is totally ignoring her stitches. Never had a cat that didn't lick at it. But it should work well if you need one.

Our cat rescue always has a need for onesies, especially during kitten season, when it's time to spay and neuter kittens so they can go to their forever homes. This is absolutely one of the cutest recovery suits I've seen, with the stylized orange pattern. The fabric is stretchy, which will make it relatively comfortable for the cat. What I'd never seen before was the system it has to secure the suit on the cat. Instead of Velcro or snaps along the back, as most have, it's got Velcro around the neck, and an adjustable buckle at the back end to secure it around the back legs and tail.I'm pretty sure it will be hard for a cat to wriggle out of it, but I'm also pretty sure it may be a challenge to get a cat into it. It might be a two-person job. If you have an extra pair of hands to get your cat into it, this is probably a good bet.

Has the maker of this recovery suit ever actually met or even seen a cat? Apparently not.I ordered this item thinking it looked great. It is so adorable, and I really wanted to love it. It states it has Velcro to make it easy on and off, a nice hole for tail, etc. It turns out that there is not a hole or area to allow the cat (male or female) to urinate or have a bowl movement. How does the manufacturer expect a cat to be in it for longer than a few minutes if the cat is not able to use a litter box? In addition, if the cat has an accident in this suit after a spay or neuter, this places the urine or feces in the area of the surgery and can potentially cause an infection. How does this even make any sense? The suit is also not an easy on and off style. We have foster cats that are easy going, have used surgical suits and will wear harnesses. Neither of our two easiest kittens were easy to get into this suit. Our girl continued to pull it back off her head as we attempted to get her second leg through the hole. She then decided that this was a game, and it was over for attempting to get her wrangled into the suit. She wore other suits for several weeks and we did not issues getting her into them. Our second kitten took two of us to get him into the suit. He wasn’t even moving. It just is difficult for one person to get a cat into the suit without causing issues for the cat – the head section keeps slipping up as we work to get his arms into the arm holes. Once on, Shakespeare wondered what we also wondered – how is he supposed to go to the litter box? Shakey is sweet and allowed us to take a few picks of his delicates in order to save other kittens from this absurdity. All in all, Shakespeare, Evelyn and their human foster servants do not recommend this recovery suit.

Much smaller than I expected. I took the measurements and compared them to our kitty and it was going to be too big and then the item arrived, and it was WAY too small. So, I'm disappointed about that. The fabric is nice quality, and the product itself is super cute. But, I can't use this now, so it's just a waste for me.

This is a onesie for cats who need to avoid picking at stitches or fur. My cat pulls all the fur on her stomach out, so I wanted to try this to see if we could break the habit. It seems nicely made with soft material and high quality stitching, and getting it on her wasn’t as difficult as I’d feared. I used the extra large size because while she is a small cat in theory, she is very overweight. It fit her well. I will say I was a little bit concerned that the area around the tail didn’t seem to have much space for her to go to the bathroom without soiling the suit. I’d planned to monitor that, but…Unfortunately, despite feeling like it was well secured, she got it off twice, both times within a couple of hours. I’m not even sure how she managed it, but she clearly hated wearing it and figured out a way to shed it like a second skin. So ultimately this was a failure but I think it had more to do with my cat than the suit itself. So far this cat has been an escape artist from all attempts, and this is not the first product failure. Back to the drawing board for me, but this may work for your cat.
