This is a very quiet fan and has a very clean look. I replaced an old '70's fan in my bathroom that bit the dust. I like that the vent cover doesn't show or accumulate dust and it's fairly easy to clean. It's really hard to tell it's running outside the bathroom. I bought it for the UV germicide light which is a nice feature. The light has a timed feature where if you leave the 'regular' LED light on, after 1 hour it switches to the UV light. Nice fan, high flow, well made. I bought another NuTone fan for my other upstairs bathroom.

This was an excellent choice for a replacement/upgrades. The fan is quiet yet quite strong. The option of regular light or UV sanitation light has been super useful and gets used daily. HIGHLY recommend this fan. I had two installed.

This bath room fan is perfect! It’s quiet yet powerful. Bathroom never gets steamy ; and we like hot showers! It’s slim and nice looking. The best feature is the dual light : great lighting for showering and then switches to a sanitizer light - which keeps the shower germ free. We installed one in each shower. We also put them on timer switches to make it easy to set it and forget it. Installation was super ez as well! Highly recommended!

Compared to the builder grade bathroom fan, this is so much quieter. Relatively easy to install, not super simple as described but not impossible. Looks great, LED white light is super bright. Jury is still out if the ultraviolet light actually does anything.

I love how you can control the UV light with regular light with the same one witch or dual switch to have separate controls. It works well in my bathroom. It’s not that loud compared to other ones, could be a bit cheaper but to get sanitation in your bathroom sure why not? Had to cut a bit of drywall in order to get it to fit but it’s real easy to install just follow the directions.

My 15 year old Broan bathroom exhaust fan is still running strong but was way too loud. I decided to stay with the brand but with an upgraded model. The main reason for this upgrade was for a more pleasing level of noise, 1 sones. This has few bonus for me, brighter led light compare to my old unit. It also has UV to help kill bacteria.I'm a DIY person, this install was straight forward and definitely can be installed without getting into attic. The only pita was getting the old box out. This looks way more sleek than my original. The exhaust fan is strong enough to do its job. The UV mode with your own music, transform into those past Club days 😀 or falling asleep in the tub since it's much quieter.I had bought 2 for my master bathroom, 1st for main area and 2nd for toilet room. I had issues with one unit but customer experience specialist Tammy took great care to help me. My experience with her puts Broan on my favorite list of brands. This is how all companies should be; professional, fast and stands behind their products for customer satisfaction.I've read reviews that everyone was complaining about the cover with led light not sitting tight against the ceiling. I was having the same issue with my first unit install but on the second unit install it was tighter. I figured out why and notice the spring clip was installed wrong by the manufacturer. I just had to turn it around to the correct direction and works perfectly. The clip should look like a "V" shape. Attached are pictures to help others.I'm confident that this model will last longer then 15yrs. I'm definitely buying more for my other two bathrooms upgrade.

This thing was a pain to install for me. I had an older exhaust in our downstairs bathroom. Once I got it I wasn't even sure it would fit. I actually had 3 handyman come by to quote installing it for me, since I installed the last one and knew what a pain it could but and this one was much bigger. The cost was just far too expensive for them to even get involved and one wouldn't even do the job, so it was left up to me.The exhaust comes mostly pre assembled, and you have to actually pull out everything prior to installation.Once out you have to hook up the vent from the ceiling... mine was smaller than the exhaust vent they provided so I had to get a reducer to get it to work. Then I anchored the box and hooked up the power. I had trouble anchoring the box and could only do it on one side as that was the only wood available. The power connects through a sliding metal bracket that anchors itself into the box through two folds. This is a problem at times because when you touch the power bracket it can easily become dislodged and you have to slide it into place again. A simple hand screw would have prevented this. Then I pushed in the fan, which slides into and is held in place by the box, so that you can then screw the motor and bracket to the wood in the ceiling. All this took me about an hour to manage as the power bracket kept popping out Once I attempted to plug in the light.Once the motor and light were all plugged in, the final piece is to put the cover on. This was by far the most frustrating part. You have to bend the two metal wire springs and push them into the black holsters on either side of the motor. It sounds sealy enough, but one of the springs became dislodged and then I had to stick them back on, and try again. This happened several times, where the springs be ame dislodged or the cover wouldn't sit flush to the ceiling, because the cover would start to slide down. Eventually I was able to get it in there after many tries, but the light kept popping out of the cover. Again, something a hand screw could fix. Eventually I got it, but it was a pain. The uv light is alright, though I can't say much for it killing any germs or bacteria. I can say that it works really well as a night light. The white light is very good and brightens up the whole space. The motor is quiet. The air flow is adequate. We're generally happy, but the same version without the uv is nearly 100 dollars less. Probably would go with that if I had to do it all over again.
