I was skeptical about buying these as I use Tipton brushes as a rule. But I purchased them anyway as they were in bulk packaging. Well, they worked very well. They don't shed bristles and are a tight fit in the bore. I'm happy with them. And I do recommend them.

Bore brushes are a consumable item, and as such should be replaced after they start to show some signs of wear. I personally use a new brush after 5-8 cleaning cycles.These brushes are at a price point that makes it palatable to throw away the old one when it is worn. The brush itself is well constructed, and I've had zero quality issues with them. They scrub away carbon, copper and lead deposits quickly with the aid of a solvent.I can highly recommend these bore brushes based on my experience in using them, and having a larger quantity on-hand sure does help when it's time to toss the worn ones. Kudos on a well-made product!
