I've had this label maker not for about eight months. Works very well, easy to learn and to change the label cartriages. Would recommend.

Nice and compact. Easy to find replacement cartridges. Good quality, cutter works well and the tape clears without needing to feed more tape through before you cut.

Useless since can not even read the screen. The half of the LCD that is actually used for viewing what you are typing for the label is a dark grey dot matrix background. The letters, etc as you type them are black. Who thought this was a good idea? (For some reason Amazon would not allow me to upload an image.)I used several different lighting scenarios and the only workable one was a flashlight on screen and unit held at an angle.

Ordered as a replacement for one that had seen better days. We were able to use the same label tapes and it works just as I expected it would. Highly recommend for labeling needs.

This is a very handy tool to have around the house. I use it mainly for labeling kitchen containers in the house and for plant labels in my garden (nice that labels are weather-resistant). The label maker has a "preview" feature that shows exactly what the label will look like before printing. This is useful to avoid printing mistakes, which is important since replacement cartridges are on the pricey side. Good selection of fonts and frames, and a wide selection of cartridges in different widths and colors.

I use a label maker often - mine other Brother P-touch was 10+ years old. This one looks to be just as good.

It is easy to use, works great. The transparent tape does not seem to stick as well as the white tape we had on our older version of this. I will be trying other tape rolls. Battery has lasted well. It is larger than the older version of this we had but it is worth the added ease and features.

I received this item and put the batteries in and haven't had a problem so far. Complaints I have read about the display being hard to read are accurate. You need a well lit room and the right angle. Other than that, this is a gem! No need for me to read directions, I just played with it for 5 mins and was able to produce the labels I want. Recommend.

I went thru the instructions and picked up more off line and still can not get this machine too function for just the simplest of operations. I cannot recommend this machine for just hobbies or using around your home.
