This is a game changer for getting laminated paper, vinyl, and other items to stick on the mat. Over time the mat becomes less sticky so this helped saved me the headache of making sure the paper is adhered while the Scan n Cut is cutting.

I really didn't want to spend the money on this but decided to go for it because in the past, I've been sorry I didn't adequately secure fabric and cardstock to the mat. With my recent purchase of the latest, greatest, updated ScanNCut I decided to avoid the mistakes of my past ... VERY happy with this tool! It works very well! I think sometimes you just have to spend a little money, get the right tool and enjoy the result.

The brayer is perfect for really getting materials attached to your ScanNCut cutting mat. Of course I could have bought an off-brand for less, and the brand was probably half the price, but I love my ScanNCut, so I have tried to buy only official Brother tools and extras for it. Remember to store upside down as it will flatten if the roller is left on a flat surface too long. For reference, the roller part is about 4" wide, and the tool is about 6" long overall.

It is excellent quality, which makes it easy to use. It is very effective to get both cardstock and fabric to stick to the cutting mat.
