I've got a 2006 Hobie Quest Fisherman so I didn't think it would fit and it doesn't... It's too wide and not deep enough for my model year. That's not the chair's fault though. It's well made and would be a solid kayak seat upgrade for newer models that it fits

Really like this hunting chair. Good angle and sturdy. Ideal for duck hunting from tall grass etc

First season of use was this year. It was quite handy compared to my previous tripod style chair. I like how low it sits to the ground and how easy it becomes to blend in with the surroundings. It definitely helped to keep me warmer by staying off the ground and was far more comfortable with allowed me to make less noise as I was not shifting around as much.

A great chair! Found it extremely comfortable for the hours I spend in it.

It gets me just of the ground and out of the snow or wet ground. I am still concealed in the brush when calling and I can still shoot off my knees. Excellent back support. I usually sit 15-20 minutes and my back is killing me. With this chair 25 minutes is easily achievable. I plan on buying 5 more chairs for my family and friends that hunt.

Good sturdy chair. Excellent size for ground blind. Will see how it works out for spring turkey.

Put this chair to the test recently turkey hunting. I purchased two of these and one was used by someone who is 6'1" 250. He had no problems sitting in this chair for a few hours and found it to be very comfortable. This chair will easily hold more weight. I like that the legs are supported all the way across the bottom. They do not sink into the mud like single chair legs would so the chair stays level while you're sitting in it. This was one of the main reasons I choose this model and i'm glad I did. The strap extends nicely allowing you to easily carry the chair on your shoulder. It's also quiet when opening which is great if you're in a spot where you need to setup and can't make much noise. If you're looking for a low profile chair to use turkey hunting, this is a nice chair to have.

My expectations for this chair were pretty low but I have to say it has impressed me! I'm 6' and 300lbs and this chair is very comfortable, sturdy and does not make a noise. Gets you up off the ground enough that your legs wont fall asleep but is low enough that you stay well concealed. Some additional info, I have a 34" bow and can shoot from this chair comfortably without cams coming into contact with the ground. I purchased this chair originally for use in an Ameristep Caretaker blind. The chair is to low to easily shoot through the windows. I would recommend something slightly higher for shooting from a popup blind. I see this as the ideal chair for turkey hunting or riverbank waterfowl hunting. My only wish for this chair is that the carry strap be a little longer.

Good value, durable. I have an older model that is identical [ALPS brand] with the exception of no Browning branding and no convenient storage flap at the front. Some folks don't like sitting low. I dont like sitting higher and having to bend my knees [too many years in the trades!] For me it is comfortable stretching them out. We use these for camping, I take it to my sons sports practices as there are always limited spots for parents to park their butts and I can find a quiet spot to sit comfortably and read during practice.Unlike some folks the camo design does not bother me, though an option for a solid color would be nice too. Have had and used for some time NO problems, in fact I'd like the excuse to buy a few more!Good buy and Amazon had the best deal!

I bought this for my Dads birthday as he'd been looking for a turkey hunting chair that he could spend much time in without aggravating his bad knees. He is very happy with it.

I know it doesn't make sense. I am not a hunter, but I go camping with friends and family. This chair sits pretty low, but it is comfortable with reasonable back support. It is more comfortable than the average camping chair, and much lighter and easier to pack into a car.The camo design is good, but not necessary for what I use it for. If it comes in solid color design like dark blue or dark green, I would have bought some more for camping trips. Taking this chair to camping is probably okay, but I may have to explain to some concerned campers and park rangers that I am not hunting! This is a great little chair that is light, portable and comfortable. As another reviewer mentioned, you can even use it right at home to watch TV or play video games.Edit (2016/04/04):After 2.5 years, it is still holding up very well. I also want to add how well it works for shooting with low bipod or tripod shooting sticks. I place the chair at about 45 degrees from the shooting direction. It is comfortable to relax in while waiting. When it is time to shoot, lean forward, scoot your bottom further back, and rest your shooting elbow on the knee of the same side. I put my non-shooting elbow on the other knee and use the non-shooting hand to gently support the butt of the shoulder stock. I find this shooting position to be very solid and easy to transition from a relaxed waiting position (unlike prone position!).

While I haven't had a chance to take it hunting, it seems to be quality made and it is comfortable. My kids like to set it up in the living room and sit in it. One complaint is the pockets in the front really are not big enough to be useful for turkey calls.
