Each cotton canvas is made by Zweigart, in Germany, the topmost world brand for needlework fabrics. As another reviewer said the yarn is poor and doesn't cover the canvas. Wouldn't buy this make again or recommend it...and definitely not for a beginner as it's too difficult to get a consistent texture.

Design is easy to follow. Good for beginners. The pattern is large holes and you use a thick wool, so it's not a delicate pillow. It's a good value. I bought two. I prefer the finner needle point canvas and silk thread but still fun to do.

The design and colors were gorgeous as always! I've done a half dozen kits from BRVSK and this is the only one that wasn't great. Several different colors of the yarn was thin and didn't fully cover the canvas underneath. This resulted in having to carefully go over the canvas and double stitch over parts of it to cover the background. BRSVK always provides plenty of yarn so I had more than enough to fix the problem. My next project is a BRVSK kit so the problems with this one didn't deter from buying another lit from them! They are also a Ukrainian company, (they ship from Odessa through Poland, but they already have kits stocked here so most kits arrive in 2 days)! I feel good giving them more business and I hope everyone that reads this will too!

I received this as a gift and looked forward to it. I am experienced at needlepoint. The acrylic yarn in the kit is far too thin to cover the canvas. I didn’t want to double the yarn without knowing if I’d have enough for the entire project. I contacted the company and sent a photo. No reply. Although some good reviews are on Amazon, they must source out the suppliers and I got a bad lot. Disappointing, and I would never order again since Brsk did not respond.
