If you want to meet code, you have to have this. And the manufacturer knows it. It is a well made piece, but not worth anywhere the price.

Great product was very easy to install. Recommended if using your generator to back feed your electric panel and knowing what breakers to turn off when using what ever size generator you have. “See YouTube videos on this product”

The product I ordered was wrong and would not fit my box. It was my fault because I ordered off a picture and did not contact the supplier to make sure it would fit the box I had. They were quick to respond and let me know what my mistake was and supply prepaid label to return it directly to them. Meanwhile, they were mailing me the right one immediately. It arrived in a few days. The right product was a little cheaper than the original so they even refunded me the difference. Outstanding customer service! I've read some say this was very expensive for the little product it is. That maybe true but considering the engineering, manufacturing and excellent customer service, I think it's well worth every penny.

Was simple to install and operated smoothly. It does what it suppose to do. This is a lot cheaper than a transfer switch and you can power any breaker in the box. The metal parts are machined good. For the amount and size of parts. I think this kit could be cheaper.

Simple and straightforward. Does what its supposed to do. Lot of money for what it is, but it beats the alternatives. Everything needed for install included. Instructions with photos were helpful

My electrician installed it easily- I think in less than an hour. It does what it's supposed to do- prevents you from backfeeding your utility line.That said, I don't really know how many stars to give it, because it is much too expensive for what it is. It probably shouldn't be more than about $15. But the reason it is so expensive is that it saves you a ton of money on a transfer switch. Welcome to the free market! I'm tempted to deduct stars for cost, but I won't. Since this item is not essential to human life, it's hard to blame them for charging whatever the market will bear. You all can make your own decisions about whether it's worth it.
