I think this was the cheapest option. One of the cheapest anyway. And it's perfectly great. Seems like it will stand up to the elements. And it makes a perfect swooshing sound when I nail a 3-pointer. Well, when my son nails a 3-pointer.

This is a really good net for 4 bucks man. I've been making it rain for a month now and the net still looks brand new. It is definitely going to hold on for a long time. The only thing that sucks is that it thick as hell making the installation tough. Get some pliers to make it an easy install

So, I purchased this net for a different use than most of you likely will. I go canoeing a lot, and it's not feasible to haul an anchor around when portaging along with all of my other gear (fishing gear, food, beverages, etc). Instead, I used some plastic zip ties to tie one end of the net together to form a mesh bag of sorts, and I put rocks in the net to use it as an anchor along with some light rope while I'm fishing.I specifically purchased this net because some of the reviews said that it was a nice heavy and durable material, and they weren't wrong. Since my net drags on the bottom of lakes full of 15+ pounds of rocks while I'm fishing, it needs to be durable and this one has delivered thus far. At $5, the price was right too. If it can survive rocks and the bottom of lakes, I'm sure it will hold up nicely for its intended purpose as well.

I purchased six of these nets for a covered school playground in Florida that gets a fairly high amount of daily use. As many reviewers have stated, the swish sound that these nets make is really good. 10 out of 10 in the swish sound category. I cannot give these nets a superior rating though because the hole at the bottom has widened significantly and quite often a shot will go in and fall right through the net without the appearance that the ball even made contact with the net. The ball falls right through. This started happening within four weeks after they were installed. I get the feeling that within a few months the net opening may be so wide that they'll look stupid and not do their job. The kids are using a full sized 29.5 inch ball, so these aren't just little tiny basketball that are flying straight through.

This basketball net is perfect for recreational use. I installed it on my old portable basketball system (outside) and I use it 3 to 4 times each week. I don’t hang on it I mainly shoot. For this purpose, this net is perfect. The net was not hard to install at all. I did not used any tool, only my fingers. For durability, I will make sure to update my review if the situation change but for now, I think this net can last a lot of years.Overall for this price, you can’t go wrong with this net. It’s one of the best basketball net I used especially if you add the price factor. A little tip, I think that you should remove it before winter, it’s so easy to remove or to install (5 or 10 min to do so), and I think this will give a few more years to your net.Ce filet de basketball est parfait pour un usage normal. Je l’ai installé sur mon vieux panier de basket à l’extérieur, et je l’utilise 3-4 fois par semaine. Je ne m’accroche pas dessus je fais seulement lancer des ballons. Pour cette utilisation, il est parfait. Le filet n’était pas difficile à installer, je n’ai pas eu à utiliser d’outils autres que mes doigts. Pour ce qui est de la durabilité, je vais mettre à jour ma critique si la situation change, mais pour le moment, je crois que ce filet peut durer plusieurs années.En résumé, pour le prix, il est impossible de se tromper. C’est l’un des meilleurs filets que j’ai utilisé surtout si vous ajoutez le prix dans l’équation… Un petit conseil, pour l’hiver, vous devriez le retirer et l’installer au printemps, en gros, en 5-10 minutes il est possible de le retirer ou de l’installer. Je crois que cela prolongera de plusieurs années ça durée de vie.

Very hardy. As others have said hard to put on, but the kids love it. I have the neighborhood hoop in front of my house, we live on a court so it has been well used for decades. Now people have their grandkids using it. The neighbors have been great on replacing the nets,but they always rip and shred, so we tried this one and it seems to be much more hearty. We also like that the net is longer so it does not flip up and get tangled

The item title is correct - this is heavy duty. I had a heck of a time pulling the thick loops through the hooks on my rim. A few were so tight that I had to hang on a pair of pliers to pull it in. It definitely will not be popping loose anytime soon. My hoop is a low end model so maybe the hooks are smaller than standard. Others may have an easier time. Now that the installation is over, I am very happy with the extended length and how it holds up to the weather. The kids occasionally hang on it and love the way the ball falls through.

I like this net. It is a nice heavy weight. It was delivered quickly. It is heavy duty and anti-whip. It meets or exceeds every descriptor on the item page. My only complaint with the net is that it is so thick that it is actually hard to install. I had to work at tugging and pulling to get this net attached to the rim. That means it will also be difficult to uninstall should I need to uninstall it for any reason (and not want to cut it down). This net seems as if it will last a good long time, so I think it was worth the struggle. If you are not strong and you plan to purchase this net as a replacement for a standard hoop from a big box store store, be sure to find a strong friend to install it for you.
