It’s also a nice weight to have to control walking cadence. It creates just enough weight that our dog knows when he is heeling or not pulling. Great leash. I have bought 3.

My dog is a leash chewer and has destroyed more leashes than I can count. This is perfect for him. The section of chain is right where he normally chews so I no longer worry about him chewing through when we're out somewhere. And the padded handle is so soft and comfortable it makes walking a breeze!

Rope feels nice, but hardware quality is awful. Chain rusting after 1 week of use, and left outside one night. The leash clip feels flimsy and like it’s going to break every time I use it. I’d avoid

The leash works fine but calling something chew proof is such a bold claim.My dog immediately chewed through the rubber pieces at the top and bottom the secure the leash to the chain.

My Border Collie is an escape artist on regular leashes. At 7 months old, she’s still becoming accustomed to being on a leash. She can snap most, not this though. Tries and it’s sad, oof, you’re smart but not smart enough to try to chew a metal lead.You feel the weight, but it’s still lite. WellMade.

Our new puppy is 10 months now, our first leash had a seat belt clip and a bungee for safety. The only thing was it had extra loose stitching, and she continuously would pull on it causing it to start coming apart. This one with the chain that clips directly to her collar/harness.. The very first time using it, she tried to bite down on the chain. I swear if looks could kill, she learned immediately. Now we have no issues. We luv it, I wanted to give it 5 out of five, but the foam handle grip is starting to split, easy fix. Highly recommend this leash. Thanks Chris

Still tries to get rope though, but not as much. Looped ends for handle and hook end are stitched together seems like weak point but have had no issues in two months of daily use and she is a puller. Rope has a little elasticity to it also making pulling a little less violent

My dog likes to hold her leash in her mouth during our walks. Sometimes she gets too playful and rips nylon or rubber leashes. This prevents her from biting and ripping her leash and saves me from having to buy a new one. I especially love the ergonomic handle!

I bought this leash to dissuade my puppy from chewing the leash when he gets over excited on walks. It works beautifully!!!!! It’s a little heavy but the weight is no issue for my standard poodle puppy. It’s a good quality lead and has a nice comfortable handle. Highly recommend!
