I have done probably 30 different Christmas stockings. This one was frustrating. The felt pieces didn't all fit as the instructions & pictures said...I had to improvise but I made it work.

Beautiful stocking kit! I love Bucilla and these kits. Have not completed the kit yet, but I am a good ways into it. It is not a kit for beginners as the instructions are not the most clear; I have completed easier ones of their's before. It is great quality though! So excited to see the finished product and the look on my loved one's face when I surprise him with it!

I did about 58 stockings the last two years and always look forward to new ones,the kids that got them are deligted and are all over the world,like the santa in the chair on the beach ,went to australia since its summertime over there when it is christmas,the one with the motor bike went to a great cousin who's dad sells harley davidson,so I try to make each one with a theme to the correct kids and so far they all loved them I am recouparating from chemo and radiation and feel like I do something positive and it makes me feel good while getting better,I also put a emvelop inside from felt and put a 2000 gold indian coin inside for each child and it was blessed by a cherokee elder for protection and good health what makes it extra special when they grow up and find that inside the stocking.thank you for the wonderfull designs and I look forward to the new ones.mary

Bucilla stocking kits are the highest quality, and I've done several brands. This one has less embroidery than some of the other ones (like Christmas Cookies), but it still takes a lot of time. Worth it though, because the finished product looks so great!One word of advice: very strictly follow the order in the instructions to attach each piece. Seems simple enough, but one out of sequence stitch and you have to rip out! Instructions are easy enough to follow.
