Overall it was an OK product.Cons: Downsides were thin felt, not enough of certain sequins, and two shades of white. Thankfully I had other projects with left over sequins and thread to complete, otherwise it would have been a complete disappointment.Pros: Pretty design and good directions.

i've done a lot of these Bucilla crafts at this point and my review will basically be the same for all of them. there's some good and some bad.the good: these are printed to show where the cut pieces fit together, where the sequins go, and where the stitching is. I've looked at some cheaper kits that dont have those guidelines and i cant imagine not having them. The felt and thread are good quality (i cant speak to other kits). The directions are good IF you have some basic craft skills. If you're completely new to crafting, you'll have to look up how to do some things probably. This was my first foray into embroidery stitches though and I found it to be a good introduction and now feel more confident about doing actual embroidery projects.the bad: my biggest complaint is that there isnt always enough materials. Im a cross-stitcher so i have floss to fall back on but i did go out and buy some backup sequins. This was annoying but i will say that i enjoy these kits enough to do so and keep buying them. The last thing would be that I dont always like the needles they provide. I think having a variety of embroidery needles on hand is supremely helpful.

This is my 18th kit I bought. The instructions are very easy to follow. I bought a different brand name once and it did not have the pattern printed on the felt you had to do it. I found it hard and a big pain etc. I only will buy this brand name because I can enjoy making it

A great kit, I’ve made my kids, grand kids and now great grandkids and their spouses one.A lot of cutting, stuffing and beading but worth every second of it for the joy it brings and memories for me.

I made this stocking for my son's girlfriend as a way of welcoming her into the family. It was so much fun to make! The instructions were clear and easy to follow. I ran shy of a couple of the floss, but because they use standard floss, it was easy to find more at the craft store. I loved they gave me plenty of extra beads and sequins as I had a habit of dropping them/losing them.

I ordered the kit yesterday and was received today - great service! Obviously I haven't made the stocking yet, but just wanted to say that I received the proper instructions and the felt is great quality, not thin like mentioned in other reviews. I'll update my review if I run into any problems, but so far very pleased with the quality. This is the 3rd Bucilla stocking I've made this year and was also very happy with the other 2. I will always order Bucilla.

This is at least the 20th Bucilla kit I've made for friends and family. I have never had a problem with the instructions or content and would recommend them to any competent sewer. They bring a lot of "Oh wows"

This stocking is so cute! The directions were complete and everything needed to finish the stocking as designed was included in the package. I did customize mine a bit. I added a lining to the middle of the stocking (white snowflake fabric), a few extra white sequins to the back, an extra panel of white felt on the back to hide the interior lining fabric (cut to look like snow) and some extra white sequins where the name was supposed to go on the front. Something to note, unlike many of the othe Bucilla kits, this kit requires French knots. These are definitely a weakness for me and usually I avoid kits that have them. I had someone else do them for me. This kit has 70 felt pieces to be cut out. That is about half what the last one I completed.I love that you can alter these kits to really make them uniquely your own!
