Bucilla Stockings get easier to make the more you do them. I am just finishing the Golfer Stocking, and it was more challenging than expected. The main issue I have with this project is that it doesn't lay as flat as most of the others I've completed, it's a bit lumpy. (The photo of the kit represents the finished stocking accurately.) Also, it is shorter than any of the others I have made (over 30 now), by at least 1.5 inches.

My stocking turned out beautiful, the only complaint that I had was that it didn't come with enough of certain colors of sequins or beads so I had to go out to purchase more from the craft store. Otherwise it was a great project! Definitely time consuming, but fun - give it a few months to complete!

I've made a good many of the Bucilla Christmas stockings over the years. I'm in the middle of making this one. As usual it's going to look good when finished. The main rule is to follow instructions properly.
