Not enough embroidery floss or sequins. I'm following the instructions and using the floss as provided, with the exception of a mistake I made that wasted 2 strands of floss. I'm running out of 3 colors of floss I can replace from my own floss stash and 1 color of sequins I can't replace but this set is no longer in production so Plaid can't send me replacement parts. Floss is dirt cheap, you can't expect to provide the bare minimum and rely on crafters to be perfect. There's also no instructions on ironing the pellon backing, but this material is typically ironed onto projects, so I'm assuming I'm supposed to? The end results are cute but inadequate supplies from Plaid has been a headache.

I have done Bucilla felt projects for decades. Although the felt was good quality, the thread was not and shredded into two multiple times. I had to substitute my own thread that was good quality and sturdy to finish this project. The rest of the kit was fine.

These are really cute. The felt and sequin quality was quite a bit better than some of my more recently purchased Bucilla kits, with a few exceptions. The cat is a little trickier to put together than I expected, mostly because I did not use the iron on paper for the backing. But it all worked out, and they are really cute.

So cute and fun to do! Took off 1 star because Bucilla’s sequins leave much to be desired and I frequently purchase quality sequins in it’s stead. I’ve done many of their felt kits and found that all too often their felt and sequins lack the high quality they used to have in days gone past. Still enjoyed putting this one together though.
