Even as a glovesmith of having 40 years of life dedicated to making gloves, it is still not easy to find an answer to the question: 'What is the most important thing when it comes to glove patterns?'
The baseball glove has evolved over time due to the changing demands of the games, but those demands have always been made by the players. As modern players are not only more talented, faster and stronger but also smarter, there are many different and sensitive requirements which made it difficult to find a simple answer to this question.
In making the Pro-1, I focused on making the gloves feel as natural as possible, as if my own hand were catching a ball. The Pro-1 glove allows the entire hand from fingers to palm for the comfortable grasp of the pocket. Knowing that preserving the feeling of the entire hand wrapping around the ball is crucial to the game performance, this factor was essential in developing the Pro-1 pattern. My focus also was on alleviating the problem of the palm face protruding upwards and eliminating the pocket which caused the ball more difficult to catch in grasping motion.

I was highly impressed with my Buckler Kip leather glove that was 12.75" but is to small for slowpitch I took a chance on the bigger size since I play slowpitch but am very upset at the quality and feel of this glove. As soon as I took it out of the box I could tell this glove was cheaply made. This glove feels like a glove used in P.E. class that you could buy for 15-20 bucks. I would purchase another kip leather if they offered it in a size 13", 13.25" or 13.5". This glove is being returned after putting my hand in it 1 time. I will stick with my American steer hide with deer skin innards made by Miken/Worth that is much stiffer and more attune to level and how much I play.....

The glove seemed like it was made of good quality leather. I don't have overly big hands, slightly bigger than average, but not much, and it was extremely tight around the wrist and back of the hand. Prior to buying this glove I went to their website and they claim that they do perform some break-in procedures. Now, they don't claim that they break it in like you would get with a Wilson A-2000, but I've seen $50 gloves with more breaking in. This glove was probably the stiffest glove I've ever seen, owned or tried. If it was just the break-in issue, I would've kept it, but when I have to have a tag team match to put it on, that dog won't hunt, so I sent it back.

After the initial process of breaking it in the glove was very easy to move and worked wonderfully as an outfield mitt.

Absolutely junk! You produced a cheaper product for Amazon. While you're main website has better quality gloves for a cheaper price! What did you think the consumer was gonna figurr it out. The quality of the glove is not what you pay for! Ive bought we better gloves for that price! I try out new products. This was a fail!!! I wont even try your high end gloves! Very disappointed!
