Bought some black and khaki clips. Seem sturdy enough as I haven’t used them yet just opened the box but if colour is very important to you these are more tan/brown. I was expecting them to be much lighter. Picture taken with black one too and on white paper so that you can see what I mean

The mesh on our patio chairs was starting to give out from being in the sun for many years. The rebuild kits were about the same price as the entire chair. I thought I would try using these buckles along with some tan chair strapping on the bottom seat. Installed two at each chair,pulled them real tight,and now the strapping takes most of the load of sitting on the chairs. I believe we can prolong the life of the chairs for several more years and they look pretty neat also.

If I were rating the value, I'd definitely give these buckles 5 stars.If I'm rating the quality of the buckles, I'd say 4 stars.Here's why:If I'd bought this set of buckles at my local fabric/craft store, they would have cost a lot more for this many pieces. That's especially true if you want adjustable buckles like these. That said, these buckles aren't my favorite. They're good enough, but not the best, if that makes sense. I've used some buckles in the past that had better action clipping and unclipping, but given the price, I don't think the manufacturer is pretending to be selling a premium buckle. They're selling something that works at a low price. I think the quality is decent and on par with other budget buckles. I want to be clear- I don't think anything is wrong with these buckles. They work fine and the quality is average. I'm just saying that if you spent more money, you could get a better than average quality.If you want something more premium, this isn't it. But if you just need something that'll get the job done, this definitely fits the bill. It meets my needs and I'm very satisfied with my order.

These are amazingly strong buckles offered at a good price, especially considering you have enough for 6 complete sets. I occasionally have had a side piece of similar buckles from other manufacturers fail after extended use. I doubt that will happen with these very strong ones but if it does I will edit this review.With double slots at both ends of each buckle you have more options for adjusting the length without having to sew the strapping on to the buckle--simply run it through both slots, do a U-turn and back through as shown. Your strap will be held securely simply by putting tension on it.You also have multiple no-sew options for finishing the ends of the strapping (which you purchase separately). Depending on the type of strapping, you can heat fuse or glue the ends to keep them from fraying. If you opt to make a strap out of self fabric you'll probably want to sew and turn it right side out or turn the ends under twice and sew it with a machine.I plan to make sturdy, reusable shopping bags from remnants of upholstery fabrics. You may also want to use these to repair or add straps to garment bags, duffles and portfolios or to make tie-downs or straps to secure your luggage. Whatever your use, be aware that dry cleaning is the method recommended.

I needed to replace the broken buckle on the strap that holds a sleeping bag rolled up and so ordered this set of buckles and triglide sliders. They came carefully packed in a box and are in perfect working condition.The buckles are sized accurately and fit well on the 1 1/2" strapping. Originally the strap didn't have triglides and the excess length flapped around a lot but I added a triglide to the strap and it looks so much neater! Everything works and the excess length is held smoothly against the sleeping bag. Looks great.The buckles are a bit hard to open the first few times but they work easier after that. They snap closed so I know when they are correctly positioned by the sound.I'm going to update some more of the camping gear with these buckles and triglides so it is all ready to go when the weather gets warmer.

I found that these buckles worked as expected and as such, I made a second purchase. They are plastic and I am using them in a diving harness so they have to be strong and long lasting in a cold wet environment. Will be purchasing them again as needed.

I planned to use these buckles with some handwoven bands, and I still will, but my plans changed after I got these, so it will be a bit longer before I get to that project. However, I was impressed by the sturdiness of the pieces and the ease with which they buckle together. The parts included will make it easy to create useful items with the bands, such as bag straps, camera or guitar straps, and dog collars.

This product seems like extremely high quality, but the “khaki” color is not accurate. It is more of a light brown or taupe. I will be returning as it’s not what I need! Otherwise, great.
