After trying several different styles and size chainrings, these have brought my 2x8 hybrid mountain bike shifting experience much closer to satisfactory comfort: smoother shifting independent of which cassette the rear derailer is on, big accomplishment. And chain doesn't fall between the two chainrains anymore and able to use full range of cassettes on both chainrings.For those looking to get that advance amateur / beginning semi-pro smooth shifting reliability setup, pay attention to which chain and chainring you are using or deciding to go with. I read other reviews and decided to try these out on a 2001 Specialized M4 I'm putting together and they don't clear the mount on the derailleur.I only used the smallest gear because it was the only one that fit the crankset with out griding it out. But with the clearance on this I'm happy I didn't waste my time. These may fit cheaper mountain bikes that have more clearance. Or possibly a different style derailleur up front but for the money I'm just going a different route with the rings.

I switched out the old triple chainrings on my Gary Fisher w Shimano. This chainring set fit great and I am now riding the bike; cheap and works!

Pros:- They work- They're cheapCons:- No overshift pin - if you drop a chain on the outside it might get stuck- Doesn't shift quite as well as Shimano - occasionally chainsucks on downshift- Some casting flash was left in one of the bolt holes, had to force the bolt throughNot perfect but for the money I can't complain. I decided to try these after being very disappointed in the longevity of the Shimano rings available for mtb triples. Hopefully these last longer, if not at least they're cheap. My review is only for the middle and big ring. I haven't installed the little ring.

Fit my bike the rings aren't factory size but that's not a issue with the product. My peeve so far is it doesn't like to downshift. It gets stuck on the ring and I basically have to drop into the lowest gear to get it to move. After a few weeks and allot of tuning It eventually started working Most of the time.. Issue is when you get a sudden hill and really need to drop gears fast is when it still sticks! Cheap but maybe go for a budget Shimano.

Have installed the three chain rings with the writing facing outwards, however they don't seem to line up under the front derailleur in the same spot as the previous chain rings. Before taking it to a bike shop I would like to confirm they are installed correctly, however I'm struggling to find any information anywhere. The webpage mentions you can contact Bucklos customer support? does anyone know where the link is for that?
