Very easy to set up. Surprised at the amount of flying critters it captured. Great for those little gnats and fruit flies. Will definitely keep one plugged in at all times.

In the winter and spring, I have several starter trays sitting on heat mats with grow lights in our living space. It doesn't take long, with the damp soil present, to start noticing the gnats. I installed this plug-in device 1 week ago and have not many of the little airborne critters, only one yesterday. I checked the sticky pad this morning and sure enough, there are some little black spots on it.

Easy to install. Esthetically pleasing UV light. No mess. You don’t have to touch the sticky surface When sticky panel is full just discard.

I have bought a cheaper version before that do not work. This one WORKS! Killed almost double the fruit flies in a 24 hour period.

Some of those flying gnats are very smart. They fly to the blue light and then automatically stop to say wait a minute something is not right here. And then there are those little flying critters that have no brain whatsoever and a fly into the light and then that’s it for them.Catchability, effectiveness, you must be patient. It does attract the flying little critters, but not all at the same time. One good thing, it’s a great night light when you get up late at night.

Really like the lavender glow on the wall, but flies stay away, but 6 days and only 1 fly on the pad.
