About this item

  • 【Unusual Double-sided Design】The spring steel plate is printed with two different laser patterns: one is a kaleidoscope pattern and the other is a dazzle color pattern. Under different angles of light, both patterns show a colorful visual effect, creating a colorful and dreamy visual experience, which inspires your creative inspiration and allows you to enjoy the fun of 3D printing.
  • 【Excellent Adhesion】The spring steel plate is H1H on both sides, which can firmly attach the model to the surface of the printing bed. Before removing the model, please ensure that the printing bed is sufficiently cooled to below 30 degrees Celsius to protect its coating from damage.
  • 【Easy to Use and Remove】The spring steel plate boasts flexibility, enabling swift model detachment sans tools. It also easily restores to flatness after use. Post-print, models detach effortlessly by bending the plate. (Smooth surfaces come with protective film for removal before use.)
  • 【Compatible】Fit for Flashforge Adventurer 5M/5M Pro/AD 5X 3D printer.
  • 【Promise】The quality of all products will be strictly inspected before shipment. If you have any questions or suggestions about the quality of the product, please feel free to contact us and we will reply within 24 hours.

Looking to add a little feature to your prints instead of the flat or bumpy texture. Look no further than here as this sheet is made of a high quality metal that will allow a good adhesion and nice after effect on the prints. The plate is two sided with a different holographic texture on the two sides. Easy to clean and they are so smooth just make sure you us a brim for the first few prints as once it gets going the adhesion is great. This will be used in my builds when I hav ea nice face I am wanting a nice clean look.

They work really well. The design they leave on the printed part is pretty cool too. Parts come right off when the print is finished and adhesion has not been an issue

Perfect fit for my 5M and love the texture I can or have on my prints.

Very nice build plate. Feels solid and durable, but with enough bend to easily pop off parts after printing. I am using this on my new AD5X printer and it fits the bed well. The patterns on both sides of this plate are very unique and I love having options to add interesting patterns to my prints.

This thing is very sturdy, I really like how the patterns are designed, it gives a nice pop to my prints and helps hide like and make them look much more professional, I think it's a fairvalue, and works great on my qqs pro. the prints adhere week to the plate and I can get prints off easier than on the normal plate .

I've always been intrigued by the idea that a diffraction grating on a build plate could be imparted into the surface of a 3D printed part. So when this build plate became available, I decided to give it a whirl...For the record, I do not have a FlashForge printer. I have a Prusa MK2.5S (yes, ancient by current standards but still a very capable and functional printer.) The heat bed is a bit larger than the FlashForge head bed but I figured that as long as I was careful in placing my prints, this would not be a problem. After a careful first layer calibraction, I was off to the races.I started out with the PEO Diamond side of the build plate. I was printing PETG at 240°C with the heatbed at 85°C. The first thing noted, as the heatbed heated up, was that this build plate seems to give off a a noxious melted plastic odor. (Yes, I did remember to remove the protective plastic sheets from both sides of the build plate.) I really hope this is a temporary circumstance as the odor is really something you don't want to be in the same room with. The adhesion quality of the PEO is good but nothing to write home about. The PEI build plates that I normally use are in the same ball park. The diamond pattern does get imparted to the printed part but as it does not have the color shifting diffraction grating effect, it's a bit of a "meh".Flipping over to the H1H Debris side, I found that the adhesion isn't as good at the PEO side but still adequate. It's a very smooth material. H1H seems to be very fond of finger print oil and if you get any on the build plate, the adhesion is shot. (To be fair, this true to varying degrees for any build plate material used for FDM printing.) I had to make sure that I cleaned it carefully with isopropyl alchohol before printing. The color-shifting diffraction grating effect does get transferred to the printed part and it is pretty cool to see the effect when you move your printed part relative to a light source. As cool as it is, the effect is somewhat limited in practicality since it only appears on the side of your printed part that was next to the build plate. One thing I found that to get a really good diffraction effect across the surface of your part, you want to make sure that the first layer is really well squished. You want no gaps between the filament laid down and the build plate -- so I adjusted my first layer to over-squish the first layer a bit (at least relative to what I usually do).One thing that I have to wonder about is the claim that the PEO side of the build plate is good for 120°C and the H1H side of the build plate is good for 260°C. While those specs may be true for the materials used, it seems to me that if they are attached to the same build plate, you are going to be subjecting both sides of the build plate to the same temperature and, as a result, you pretty much limited to the lower of the two temperature ratings (unless you don't care about the PEO of the build plate.) That said, for the filament types that I print with, I rarely go over 105°C and the heat bed maxes out at 110°C...so the higher temperature spec of the H1H doesn't really mean anything for me anyway. So to sum up, a pretty good build plate (and one that is usable on a Prusa printer if you are careful) and the diffraction grating H1H side of the build plate does produce a pretty cool effect. The only downside is the melted plastic aroma. I really do hope that this will diminish over time. Otherwise, I won't be using this build plate very much.

This build plate is strong but flexible and nicely textured, It fits perfectly on my Adventurer 5M and seems like it will allow for good prints with strong adhesion and texturing.

This reasonably priced double sided pei textured build surface is a solid purchase. It has great adhesion when heated and excellent release when cooled. That provides solid functionality....and it appears and feels to have good durability. The gold appearance and the textured surface look great and leave a pleasant appearance on the bottom of the print.
