Your cart is empty.Bullet Casting Alloy consists of 2% tin, 6% antimony and 92% lead - also known as "hardball" bullet casting alloy. You are purchasing 10lbs of this bullet alloy ingot. The 10lbs may arrive as multiple pieces of ingot totaling 10lbs. This modern version of the old Lyman #2 is an excellent all-around alloy for most handgun bullets and many higher velocity rifle cartridges. The Brinell Hardness of Hardball Alloy is very close to 16.

I been casting bullet for years and the biggest hassle is making ingots to fit the remelt pot. This ptoduct makes that a lot easier.

These lead ingots were used as permanent ballast weight in the aft fuselage of an aircraft. FAA requires they be painted red and labeled "Permanenr Ballast, Do Not Remove "This is done to move the center of gravity to achieve a safe flyable aircraft. Picture shows three 5lb lead ingots mounted to a shelf.

It casts good bullets but Iām getting a lot of slag from what is advertised as over 99 percent pure
