Closely spaced holes allow ideal adjustment. Very beautiful, very heavy leather is supremely comfortable. Following directions leads to perfect fit. Yes…it’s expensive for my budget but honestly at 75 y.o. I’ll never need another. Construction is the best I’ve ever seen. Absolutely my highest recommendation.

I am quite DONE with cheap Chinese belts that fall apart a month or two after you buy them. This is a very well made and durable belt; it is strong and yet nice enough to wear for dress up occasions. Do yourself a favor and buy this belt, because someday you will be able to pass it on to your son or perhaps a son in law, because it will probably outlast you. It is made in the USA. I use this belt as a dress up belt for work each day; it is a bit wide but most of my dress pant loops can handle it. Quality product!

While this belt would most certainly work as a gun belt, I have another one for that purpose which has a steel core. I bought this one to use as an every day belt because the steel core belt, which is also great, is a bit too stiff for every day use. The description in the Amazon details for this belt for measuring the length you need is right on. My measurements based upon the other belts I use came to 36", and I wear a size 34 waist pant, is perfect. Too, I really like the fact that the belt loops are 3/4" apart which is much easier to use than the typical 1" separation. The belt is very thick at 1/4" and should last a long time without sagging as much as thinner belts with do over time.

This is one of the best belts I have ever bought. On par with custom belts from a leather smith. Perfect fit, good looking and very, very sturdy. I expect it to last for the rest of my life.

Hands down the best belt I have ever had. Great materials, best buckle, finish is perfect. Finally a belt with a heavy buckle instead of one so thin it'll cut you in half. Belts aren't the only thing they make. Check out all their belts and other leather products, then check out their hats! Glad I found them when I did the search for belts made in the USA! It's "gun belt" so heavy enough to hold my CCW hardware, and nice enough for every day casual wear. I'll be buying other goods from BullBelt!

I've owned one other gun belt but prefer this one. Holes are spaced 3/4" instead of 1" apart. I love my old belt except that one inch holes made it hard to adjust for a really good fit.I also like the more squarish (typical) belt buckle over the basic buckle. It has some style rather than scream gun belt. The roller on the buckle that helps when drawing the belt through the buckle works great and I really wanted that feature again.I debated between the spring steel model and this one. The leather on my previous belt was also very stiff and held my 1911 quite comfortably. However, over time as the leather became more pliable and after 5 years of daily use (lots of physical work) it does not perform the job of carrying a heavy load quite as effectively. Don't get me wrong here, the old belt is still very serviceable and will last forever. It's like new hiking boots - they're so nice compared to the old ones, but neither are like wearing tennis shoes for backpacking.I think the spring steel would hold up indefinitely and would be additionally supportive for heavy loads and gear, but I in the end I wanted something less "duty".As expected, Craftsmanship is excellent!When the belt arrived I immediately swapped it out for the old one and haven't looked back! I instantly preferred the closer spacing of the holes in the belt and also prefer the position and look of the buckle once the belt is on. I'll be curious to see how bullhide holds up and may consider other heavy leather choices in a future belt.I'm a happy packin' camper!

The belt is basically a thick leather belt. It works well. I wear a size 32 so I ordered a 34 like the manufacture recommended. The belt is almost too small. I was in the last punch hole, and I actually punched another hole to make it less tight. I would order a 36 if I could go back in time. Leather is nice and the belt buckle strong.
