My grandkids have been having a blast with this thing. I am sure my neighbors are loving it too (whoops!) It’s truly louder than I was expecting BUT there is a volume! You can control it and that’s good for obvious reasons.The size is large. I have never owned a mega phone so I’m not sure if that’s standard or not. It feels pretty sturdy and the quality is good.It requires batteries and when you open the flap it’s not straightforward on how to place them. Take out the plastic sheath and they are marked on there. Of course if it doesn’t work just switch them all but it’s a lot of batteries. Pulling out the sleeve is the easiest way to understand how to load them.The record function works very easily. The other buttons react well but not always instant. They feel cheap in quality.I have to say I’m not sure what to expect in terms of longevity. While it’s large and working fine now, there are some cheap feeling parts like the buttons. Sometimes when they don’t react you can reset it and try to push buttons on/off again to get them going.We are having a lot of fun being goofy and playing games with it. It would be great for costumes or some sort of practical use too. The sound is clear and even with the record feature, it’s easy to understand.

We were astounded by how loud this bullion is! We are a demolition derby promoter and it was just what we needed for our drivers to hear us during driver meetings and to hear the loud siren for a red flag during the derby. The lime green is an added bonus because not only is it our derby color, but it is bright enough that it will easily be spotted amongst all the chaos of a show. Super happy to have found this!

I work with a lot of teens so I always thought about getting a megaphone to help them hear me whenever I need to talk to the whole group. Well, I came across this Bullhorn Megaphone with Siren & Volume Control/Recorder from Roar of Lion and wow does it do the job! I like how easy it is to use. The removable microphone makes it simple set the megaphone down but still use it and the clip for the microphone makes it more like a bullhorn which I found comes in handy as well. I like how it can record my voice or music or both and replay it over and over again. And the siren is really loud but I love how it sure does get their attention! The megaphone looks and feels very strong and durable and the thick plastic tells me it can take a lot of use. The waterproof feature is nice as well in case I need to use it in the rain. Overall, I really loud, clear and easy to use bullhorn megaphone that I highly recommend. 5 out of 5 stars.

This Megaphone is super loud, and has clear voice projection, but it is heavy. Since it is so heavy, it is good for occasional use only. I also had to purchase 8 C batteries which i prefer if i didn't to have to purchase batteries, and prefer the use an internal rechargeable battery.

I got this Bullhorn on a whim. I didnt know what I would use it for at all, but now I know! First, this thing is legit!To begin with, I got the matte black and it looks awesome and official. It also has a strap so you can put the horn over your shoulder and unclip the speaking element to hold in your hand like a CB radio....making it less tiring to hold while using.Battery installation was slightly confusing, but once you get the direction correct, you are good to go. And yes, as others have noted, it takes 8 C batteries, but it is what it is. Thats whats needed for the power you get from this!It has several functions:1) basic voice: WOAH is this loud. Who knows what I can use this for in the future, but as of now, I will certainly be using this to call my kids back in the house or to get their butts downstairs for dinner!2) the siren: SERIOUS WOAH! that siren hurt my eardrums it was so loud!3) recording capability: the unit allows you to record something so you can play it whenever you want, and also loop it when playing. I recorded Reveille (the military bugle wakeup horn song) and it sounds great as an intro if I want to wake all the kids up! (warning, my kids told me if I ever do that to them they will break my Bullhorn faster than I can say "wake up")4) it has a port to insert a USB/memory chip which allows you to use this as a speaker for music/songs/etc. with skip/reverse/play/pause controls.So overall, if you need a Bullhorn, get this! If you arent sure and you are one of those guys looking to buy something for no good reason, and have nothing else to buy....THIS! but as noted, I might become the most hated person in my house as a result of owning this product ;)

Everything here is pretty straightforward. The bullhorn is loud and works great. I have two things I love and one I don't. First, it is light, which is great for a bullhorn... however, the 8 batteries make it significantly heavier. I also love the ability to record a message and play it back. Often times these are used in an emergency situation and the same message must go out more than once... super nice feature. I only wish that the batteries were optional and it had a chargable feature to allow it to function independent of C-cell batteries (mabye an option in an emergency). This is almost a perfect product in my opinion. If you put rechargable batteries in it, it could be great assumming you can charge while in the megaphone... otherwise making room for that many c-cell charging stations in my office is going to stink.

I got the camo one and I was fairly impressed. It looks beautiful and it is really loud, so it definitely works as it should. My only issue is that it requires batteries rather than being rechargeable. I dislike having to deal with batteries. Still, it works well and looks good. Definitely a good investment.
