If you're looking for a durable boomerang that you can throw anywhere, upgrade to a different one. Colorado Boomerangs make some really nice boomerangs but also some cheap ones. This model is under their kids section. In my opinion, this can only be played with on a large grass area. If you throw it over pavement and you don't catch it, it will break. After the second throw one of the arms broke off. Very disappointing. My advice spend an extra $5 and get one of the wooden ones. You will be much more happy. If you are buying it for your kids and only intend to gently toss it over a large plane of grass, then go ahead. We're buying another one, that will be wooden and more versatile.

Takes some getting used to but if the directions for throwing are followed it comes back pretty well. Got it within 5 feet or less multiple times. It's a fun challenge. Must be thrown and spun hard to work, so not the best for young children because they can't throw it hard enough.

Playing with this boomerang is very fun it does have a learning curve to throw it correctly but it was to fun to watch it fly around everywhere on my failed attempts the bright color made it easy to find if it flew into a cluster of bushes the only downside is the black stripes on the side faded out after multiple throws so now it has the middle of the bottom stripe missing on each of the edges other than that it is good boomerang and a fun time to play with

Very small, thin, flimsy and brittle. Broke after about 1 week. Flys and returns well. Was a lot of fun while it lasted, but definately not worth the high price.

I own several left and right handed boomerangs, but I'm a newbie to throwing. In comparison to my other 'rangs, this is the ultimate beginner 'rang. It's very lightweight, easy to throw and "snap", is very stable, and doesn't fly far compared to other boomerangs. If you're going to get a boomerang for a kid (SUPERVISE THEM), or if you can't "snap" your wrist/forearm to properly throw a normal 'rang, this is a great training/warmup 'rang. As I said earlier, supervise your kids if they throw boomerangs, they are not toys. Boomerangs were once hunting tools, and even modern 'rangs have edges that could cut skin if someone were to be hit by it. So in addition to supervising kids, make sure you don't have an audience watching you, and make sure you have oodles of wide open space to throw in.

I had ordered three boomerangs and this one is the best! I haven't thrown one in a long time. But this Bumblebee was easy and fun. The bright Colors make it easy to spot flying and coming back. My four year old daughter and I have taken this to the park numerous times and it was a blast! It is solid and has crashed down to the ground numerous times with no problems. I have some friends that saw it in action and are going to be getting one as well. Its fun to use and gets kids out of the house. I would definitly recommend this to anyone looking to have fun with a boomerang.
