Depending on where you live, there may also be state and local laws/regulations that limit the age of UTV riders and operators, as well as safety equipment requirements for minors like helmets, etc. So, how do we keep our little ones at their safest, while at the same time, not being forced to leave them behind when a riding adventure awaits

--A RZR Bump Seat is an excellent way to allow your children to safely and comfortably experience the joys of the RZR ride! Bump Seats are installed between the factory bucket seats. Most Bump Seats include a 4- or 5-point harness, with sewn in padding for comfort and security. They are sturdy enough to hold several hundred pounds, but only appropriate for children between the ages of 3 – 6 years due to the position or location of the Bump Seat. Children older than six have typically grown too tall to sit comfortably in the safety harness.

Remove Your Stock Seats

Start with removing your stock seats to access the harness bolts.

Remove seat belt bolts

Remove Harness Bolts

Loosen the bolts that secure the stock seat belts. (Aftermarket harnesses will work as well)

Your new bump seat will bolt directly to where the stock seat belt mounts along with your stock seat belt or aftermarket harnesses.

Once he spent 4 hrs Tr drilling holes to line up and drilling two extra holes to stabilize-along with no directions, the seat is a hit. Husband watched the video and looked at pics that customers had posted to accomplish task. Grandson is 3 and loved sitting higher to see ahead and clinging the hills. Harness and lap belt are very sturdy too. Be patient . Also the seat is narrow so it doesn’t make passengers on each side have less room.

After posting messages and trying to research this product, I then ordered and found that it will only fit a 4 seater Polaris RXR 1000 and not a 2 seater. This is not referenced in any of their product data. Now that I have to return, they will not pay this cost which is from $110 to $150 shipping. Buyers beware.

Not sure why everyone was having a hard time with the install. For me it was one of the easiest things I’ve installed on my XP4 1000. Literally took about 15 minutes. I installed in the rear. I put it all together first and then mount in the rzr. One thing to watch for is the seats will require extra force to snap in properly!!!! You can get you seat in place ready to snap in then put both your knees on the seat and use your body weight. Pull on the top of the seat to make sure it’s properly fastened.

Install is a little tricky but comes together nicely... We had the chest strap break during install and I contacted Aces and they had one in the mail next day! Great customer service! And our little girl loves it in our 2016 900S RZR!

This seat works well for small children. They get excited about it. It is an acceptable product.There are some issues however. The biggest issue is that in interferes with the stock seats. The fitment of the seat to the stock seats is very tight. I didn't realize at first that the passenger seat was not fully clipping back in. It takes a lot of force to manipulate the bump seat and the passenger seat so that the passenger seat locks into the bracket. Be extra sure when putting the seats back in that they are fully locked into their bases.My bump seat is also not straight due to the mounting bracket, so I will need to get some washers and shim the the seat if I want it to actually be straight, which may help with getting the passenger seat to lock easier.The directions are also inexcusably poor. The pictures are grainy with little reference. It would take very little effort to include captions such as "remove the seats", "use a xyz socket" etc.Overall, I gave it 5-stars because of the, you get what you pay for, ideal. This is the cheapest seat available. I would not have given it 5 stars if it was the one that costs $60 and had this fit/finish, but for the price, the seat is fine.
