Your cart is empty.Bench dogs are an essential hold down device that should be a part of any workbench. Bench dogs will greatly improve the function of any bench. They allow securing work to the edge or top of your bench by using 3/4 inch holes. Install wherever you want simply by drilling a 3/4 inch diameter hole. These dogs are just under 3/4 inch by 0.015 inches so they won’t bind in the hole, yet the side spring holds them in place at any desired height. Made from anodized aluminum that will not corrode or ruin a cutting iron or plane is accidently struck. The dog faces have cross hatching and a 2 degree inward slop to better grab and hold your wood tight to the bench. Overall length is 2-1/4 inches. Come in packs of 4 each. .

I bought the 4 pack because I I needed 2 for my grandson ( a handyman contractor). After making a portable workbench for him. My brass dogs were too long. I kept two for full sized bench, thinking I may build one of those for me. The portable uses Moxon vise hardware and would be suitable as such on my bench. Short story: I like the dogs even better. Light weight, easier to slide in and out, and if I ever hit it with a plane iron, no worry.

Had home made 3/4 stops, for years. How much better could manufactured ones be?Turns out, quite a bit better!Soft metal - Won't ding your hard earned sharp edgesSpring - Man is this handy, no more holding the stop till it gets some friction. Stays where you want it.The half round shape is especially great for flat or irregular work.Would buy em again, in a minute.

Was going to purchase brass ones from Veritas but for the price of 1 I get 4 of these! Color is a little blend, wish they could have anodized with a better color, blue or maybe red...Otherwise very well built, fits perfectly and although a little light, feels like quality.

These are nicely cast and machined anodized aluminum bench dogs. They fit standard 3/4" holes with spring inserts to hold them in place. Smart design with 5 degree cant the top notch area. Good value.
