My son sleeps in a loft bed with a ladder. Little sister has decided that she is big enough to climb up there too. Unfortunately for her I disagree. After trying multiple ways to block the ladder for her but keep access for him I came across this ladder cover. It works perfectly for my needs. He is able to fold the ladder up or move it to the side when he wants to get up and she is stumped on how to gain access to the ladder underneath. I like that it is on the heavier side so she can't just push it aside. Excellent product for keeping little ones from climbing ladders

We got this bunk bed ladder cover to prevent our toddler from climbing the bunk bed at the grandparents' house (and other places when we travel). It's really well constructed, sturdy and packs down really well for travel. Unfortunately, the straps that are supposed to secure it across the back are too short for my parents' bunk bed ladder side rails. To accommodate them, we had to weave the top strap through one rail and the bottom through the opposite rail. It worked but wasn't nearly as secure (or comforting). It's a shame they didn't make them just a couple of inches longer. At the very least, the seller would do well to include strap length in the item description so buyers can assess if this will work for their needs. I've included pictures to help future buyers. as you can see, there's roughly 17 inches of strap to work with. Hope this helps!

Keeps my toddlers off indoor climbing gym ladders when I can't supervise them. Very important for preventing dangerous accidents.
