When we receive truck deliveries at work, the truck (an 18-wheeler) backs up to a portable steel unloading ramp behind our store. The ramp is heavy, but not bolted down, so it slides a few inches each time a truck bumps it. Over time, it has moved over thirty feet. So, we moved it back.I used both shackles and made a yoke with the rope to attain an even pull on both corners of the ramp. It worked like a charm. The kinetic rope allowed for a gentle pull, keeping the ramp upright and in one piece. ;)I'm glad I have this in my recovery gear. I know I can count on it.

This is a nice heavy-duty tow strap that comes with rope shackles for tying to. It has protected loops on each end for extra tough pulling strength. It comes in a soft bag so it can be kept in the truck. This rope sports a 10-ton tinsel strength to meet all the different challenges I might encounter while off-roading. This is a quality product at a good price.

Well made of premium rope!We do a lot of off-roading and from time to time we need to winch or yank someone out of the mess they got themselves into. Kinetic straps like this multiply the energy of the towing vehicle several times over and that really helps when the vehicle being towed is really heavy, really stuck or both. The soft shackles are definitely a welcome addition to the kit. All in a handy gear bag! Make sure you are using safety precautions when using this or any tow strap.I keep up with my reviews and will revisit this one should the need arise.I give this kinetic strap my Big-Foot “Stomp” of approval and 5 stars!

I bought a pile of stuff before an extended trip to Death Valley, and at the point where I bought this kit, I was tired of spending money. I opted for this and it felt like a risk given the intended use and importance of its function when needed. To be fair, I've never seen, held, or tested the $300-400 kinetic ropes. I knew I needed something in a pinch, and would not be using this daily or even monthly. It looks to be 100% dyneema, which is what I was looking for.We did have occasion to use the rope and shackles to rescue a motorcycle and tow it about 1/4 mile over extremely rocky terrain. it worked as expected and I was glad I spent the money for it. It will be a permanent part of our kit until/if I feel the need/urge to lighten my wallet significantly with a name brand product.
