I got this to use for smash burgers on my Blackstone Griddle. You did too, right? This is great. Good weight without being overkill, and plenty of surface area. I'd recommend using some was paper squares with it, but you can get around that. Way for convenient then using my cast iron skillet to press the burger patties lol. This can give you good, consistent results!

They may be good for burgers but definitely not for bacon.

This press worked great to make smash burgers. It is a nice weight. Not cheap or too heavy. I used parchment paper to prevent sticking but used it directly on bacon. I had to put it on the top for cooking one side and then the bottom to cook the other as it didnβt cover a whole slice.

Always used a huge chowder cup to press my grilled cheese sandwiches. This is a great alternative.... Put on sandwich and it grills nicely, although needs to press down a little, since it is not super heavy. But that's a good thing, because light enough to store in upper cabinet. Plus it is ONE connected piece, so it's easy to clean.

My husband uses this is pressed burgers and sandwiches and anything else he can think of. Great weight to it and great quality.

I love this lightweight grill press for times when I don't need the weight of my cast iron one. Size is perfect for most medium size skillets. The Smooth surface allows for easy cleaning. Perfect size for smash-burgers. Not sure if the material, but it feels like aluminum and doesn't transfer heat as much as I thought it would. Very functional.

Perfect. Many uses... I especially like to use for grilling hot dog rolls, bread, burgers and other meats. I've only used on the stove top, in a non-stick pan, I've yet to try it on the grille outside. So far very pleased with the product.
