I bought this to replace the cheap circuit breakers Grand Design put in my RV for the hydraulic pump that operated the slide and levelers. They would frequently trip and then reset after a few seconds. I put this quality breaker in and have had no problems for over 5 years.

I needed this to replace a failing 50A breaker for the hydraulic pump on my fifth wheel as advised by Lippert/LCI. Since installing, 18 months ago, I’ve had zero failures. They’ve since raise the price to about double what I paid so I’m glad I got it when it was reasonably priced.

The factory circuit breaker for the leveling legs is not robust enough to handle the load. This one, easy to install, overcomes that problem and allows 80 amps, which is the Lippert spec.
