It's a great racket and I use it all the time over my old one. It's more for advanced players as it spins the ball hard, so you need to know how to control the spin.

When I took the plastic wrap out, the bat was sticky for a few days but the stickiness gradually went down as I used it. There is distinct lack of speed from the rubber however, the stickiness helps with spin control for beginners. The bat is thick but not necessarily heavy. As an intermediate player, I would not go for this bat
