These butterfly wings are printed on a billowy, flowing material. You wear it like a cape with a loop on each hand and straps to tie it around your neck. It comes with a beautiful lacy mask and an antenna headband. The quality of the wings-cape, the mask, and the headband are all very nice. The only thing I don't like about the "wings" is that they are 2 separate pieces of fabric so it doesn't hang as one butterfly if that makes sense. I would suggest pinning the two sides together in the middle so it hangs like a one-piece cape so you can see the whole butterfly. The colors are bright and the artwork is very detailed so it's a really nice costume.

This teenage or adult butterfly costume is already a hit! (I tried it on for this review AND because I'm using it on a trip during Halloween.) People just LOVE my photos. I love it because it's a cinch to wear and low maintenance. You can wear it with warm clothes, too -- such as over a jacket or sweater. The wings each have a loop that you put on your finger so you can maneuver the wings (which simply tie around your neck). I was delighted to also receive a cute tie-on mask and an adjustable antennae headband as part of the costume. It's a great value for the money ($13 less any coupons at the time of this writing). You'll get a lot of mileage from wearing this adorable costume. I know because people already love it when they see my photos. You probably want to be at least 5'-3" to wear it as the wings are big. Note that the wings are loose cloth; no framework to make them stiff. They spread out when you spread out your arms. So you can fit through a doorway with this costume! This is a winner, upbeat costume. I'm hoping to find some sparkly leggings to wear with it. I hope this information helps you.

I was really looking forward to this Butterfly Wings Halloween Costume but it is nothing like I was expecting. Basically the two sides are attached by about 1cm at the top so the back is really not displayed. It is soft, limp fabric (I thought it would have a least some stiffness or that material that windshield covers are made of that you bend). The only way the front has any display is that your finger slides into a small hook at the top . Even in their advertisement it looks like it is stitched in the rear half way but it is not. The mask is like lace and the hair band is velvety. The colouring is nice but the main body is a complete disappointment. This will be an absolute pain to wear. Plan B.

I am a nurse and a few of us purchased this for Halloween. It was light, easy to wear and the color was vibrant. Our patients loved them. The little headband was the perfect touch.

It was a nice costume that got many compliments. However, the antenna headband was missing and there was not enough time to resolve the problem. Fortunately we were able to get a suitable replacement at Walmart.

Nice, pretty wings, very long, almost like a blankey! Pretty design and color, easy to wear. Probably too big for kids unless they're very tall as it's almost too big for me and I'm 5'2"
