RIP OFF. This is an old car antenna or maybe a cheap school "pointer".

I will start off by saying that I PERSONALLY love this instrument FAR better than string or cord measuring devices. I PERSONALLY have had NO issues with bending it or breaking it. That said, evidently, OTHER folks do not know how to carefully push the unit back together. I am on number three because time after time, my guests do not appear to know how to use this without bending or breaking it.

While this is nice in principle for comparing short distances, the slender end of it is so flimsy that it snapped off within ten seconds of trying it. Not worth it.

Use this item to measure distances between Bocce balls when playing. Works perfectly.

Does not serve any good purpose - you can just as well use an ordinary ruler or stick!

Yes, this is basically a radio antenna, but it does it job well. My only complaint is that it is pretty flexible, so you have to be careful not to bend it.

This is a good simple tool to keep in your bocce bag that reminds me of the KISS (keep it simple sucker)principle. It is basically an antenna-type piece of metal that extends the segmented parts out to measure the distance between the pallino and one or more bocce balls in determining the closest ball. It does not have any measuring increments like a tape measure, but is easy to use and very effective in most situations -- unless you have an engineer in the crowd, and then the measuring tape always comes out for precise measurments! This telescoping device seemed like a good idea for my new Bocce Ball court. I found however that having a piece of sting worked even better. Although the device looks good,it does not really add any value to the measuring task. We use a piece of sting now and find it much more convenient.
