Bought a bike light from China (Touhuhot) and the little plastic piece that goes between the light and the mounting bracket broke. Couldn’t buy a replacement piece, so bought a second light and within six months the same plastic piece broke on that one. Thought I would have to buy a third light, but this mounting bracket fits the light perfectly, with no cheap plastic insert to break! Saved me lots of money!

Many lights have a metal channel that slides onto a flange on the handlebar mount, with a small spring-loaded triangular latch that that locks it in place. This mount looks very much like several others that I have, so I thought I’d get this as a spare. But the plastic flange is too thick to fit into the metal channels on any of my lights.The mount is plastic but looks quite strong. If this fits for you, the price is certainly right. But be aware it might not fit.

So I have this light a purchased waaaaay back from Weewinand the mount broke over time. The light is super bright and I really didn’t need a whole new light but Weewin’s customer support SUCKS. I began hunting and found this mount it looked just like it would fit in the images but I was still hesitant of course. It fits like it was made for it! Better than the original in build quality for sure! So just dropping this here in case anyone is looking for a mount for their Weewin light 🙂

I have a NightRider Lumina 1200 that I wanted to swap between bikes (since I can really only ride one at a time). Continually moving the entire mount seemed like a potentially problematic long-term solution, so I picked this on up on a whim when I saw it on Amazon.This pretty much looks and feels exactly like the NiteRider OEM mount. The only real difference is that the small latching mechanism, which is probably perfect for the BX-1200, doesn't lock into the Night Rider Lumina 1200. But it's not a huge deal, because it slides on far enough and tight enough that it's not coming off anyway.Overall, I'm happy with this mount and my bike-light hack.
