Great pressure washer pump. Very Sturdy! Installed easily on Honda GC160. Not able to secure mounting bolts with torque wrench due to body at mounting bolts. Replaced motor last year on 30+ year-old unit. Washed 1984 concrete drive after 6-7 years with 40 degree nozzle (see photo). It used to be black-green.

I got this replace a pump i had on my 20ish yr old north star pressure washer , the original pump seals failed and was allowing water in the fluid area and pressure was spotty at best , so got this replacement and bolted right up to the original Honda 190 engine worked like a charm, i only had to get the water hose connection and the spray hose connector which do not come with this pump and fluid for it

This pump has worked perfectly in my old pressure washer. The last pump was splitting at the seams. I don't know how long this one will last but the OEM lasted about 7 years and the Honda motor is still going strong.

My husband replaced the pump on our older model pressure washer and it works great. Did all the outside Spring pressure washing (pool cage, deck, driveway, house) and it's still going strong. Shipped quickly too!

I bought this pump to replace the VRX series pump on my North Star Pressure Washer. The pump bolts up perfectly but you will need to put on the inlet and outlet fittings. The water hose inlet fitting from the VRX pump will work on the BXD pump but the high pressure outlet fitting will not. The one on the VRX series is 1/2" FNPT and the required fitting for the BXD pump is 3/8" FNPT. I found one without too much trouble at our local farm supply store but be aware that it's a necessary purchase. By-the-way, I didn't have an allen wrench or hex head socket large enough to fit inside the water inlet connector to remove it from my old pump. I found that a 1/2" bolt head is the perfect size. I used an old bolt and clamped a pair of vise grips on the bolt shank for a handle and it worked like a charm. There isn't any literature provided with the new pump but they do provide a web site where you can download it. I'm happy with the purchase price and speed of delivery from PRI / Amazon. Always great customer service.

Out of the box, this pump fit my old power washer perfectly. The key shaft is built-in, which worried me a little, but it is sized exactly to the keyway with no slop. I comes filled with oil, so all I had to do was bolt it on and attach the input and output fittings.Yes, it does not come with inlet or output fittings. I assume there are many different types and sizes of outlet fittings, but you'd think they could put an inlet on, since it is just a hose fitting, especially considering the premium price.I made the mistake of buying a cheaper replacement which only last a year. This Comet model runs better than the original pump, and a expect it will last a lot longer too.

Simple install on 5hp Briggs, came with fasteners and instructions. Shipped with oil just had to remove plug and install vent. Transfered water fittings and was ready to wash. Good pressure and soap applicator works well.
