I lost a crochet hat I liked very much. I bought this pair instead. They are nice looking and warm for fall. I like them. For colder weather of winter I have to wear something warmer.

The colour of the beret that I bought was listed as "cream leafy", so I expected a colour that was more of an off-white. What I was sent looks more like a light beige. I must say that I was disappointed in the colour. I kept the beret because I really needed it, but next time I think I will order "off white" in hopes that it will be more like the "cream" colour that I had been hoping for.Colour aside, the beret is light-weight and fits my smaller head nicely, just as it should. For me, there is enough room for me to put my thick, waist-length hair into a big double-claw clip and put the beret over that. Yes it looks a little bit funny in shape if I do that, lol, but I like that this beret accommodates this if I need it to. The beret doesn't look bulky or too big when my hair is down, either. It's the perfect size, just the way berets have always fit me. :) The material is acrylic so expect a nice, soft feel to the touch. I'd advise putting it in a mesh laundry bag and on gentle cycle when you wash it, and lay it flat to dry, because the crochet pattern is a bit loose/delicate. Overall a lovely beret, and the 'leafy' pattern looks a bit old-fashioned and classy, which I love! :)Conclusion: I would have given it a solid 5 stars if not for the colour being misleading/inaccurate.

Ive bought several over the years. I have noticed there is a huge inconsistency when it comes to the fit. Lining up all the knit beenies, you can visually see the sizes aren’t the same…. basically one fits snugger than the other - pretty disappointing. Also, these have a ‘made in China’ tag, so the price tag should be cheaper for us, the consumer. Looking at other options.

These are quite round with *no* slouch and are very warm. Not what I was looking for as I've enough warm toppers for Winter so am donating these to the local homeless teen shelter so they may enjoy warmth also.I was very pleased with the quality and colors which are as rich as the ad shows.

A nice knit hat, but suited to hair with less volume. They were too small to fit my dreadlocks comfortably.

Well... almost everyone... But other than that One Chick I Know, everyone else looks awesome. Sure I thought I would look silly cause isn't on my style point. And yeah they are mostly for bad, dirty, what the crap are you doing?! hair days. I tend to want all hair covered on those type of days, but I've learned to get over that... only a little... just in the front... But with curly hair cut in an A-Line bob it just f'ing works. Super recommend! doesn't make face fat(ter) looking, or make you look like you're trying too hard to look young, goes with almost all styles, and bonus doesn't automatically turn anyone it touches into a hipster... well as long as the rest of you doesn't look like a hipster. Or hey if that's your bag, bonus you. Covers unwashed, unruly, unmanageable hair with a cute kiss of style.

I really like these hats and they definitely seem to be the best "deal" on Amazon. Great quality! Definitely worth the money.They would be great for winter. Sadly I was looking for something lighter that could be worn year round. The "airy cutout" is rather small, which makes it look more like a winter hat.
