I needed a half inch cordless drill to leave at a remote location so I bought this one even though I have a similar, but much more expensive Bosch drill here in my shop.I was impressed by the drill and the case and it seems to perform similarly to the Bosch.I wanted to buy a spare battery and asked also if the charger is comparable with other brands of batteries and the response from the seller was not particularly helpful but I would recommend this drill.

Chant Power doesn’t disappoint. Lots of value for a minimum price point. I’ve put mine through the paces and it’s holding up just fine. Battery life was more than I expected. On a side note, I went to purchase a second battery, and found that for the same price I can get the whole Chantpower drill, charger, and battery!So I just ordered a second unit instead.

I was so happy at first. But the drill bit is still jammed in the chuck which seems defective already bc that chuck part has two parts. They are supposed to rotate separately.I’m also glad I have read reviews here how the speeds don’t seem to change! Definitely returning.And oh, no customer support at all!
