My brother has several physical issues, including walking, balance and neuropathy (shaking of hands and fingers). Having a meal (or just a cup of coffee) is difficult because a coffee table is too cumbersome to get around with a rollater or other apparatus. This table, as small as it is & inexpensive as it is, has shown to be sturdy and functional. First, it has a lip around the tray good enough to keep things from sliding off (or his 175 lb lovable "puppy" knocking things to the floor with his snout). It has the capability of changing heights for sitting or cooking because it has wheels AND swivels. It is versatile. No coffee table can do that!We purchased, from AMAZON, other very inexpensive tools like plates/bowls with suction cups that fit nicely on this tray. This small tray table is not hospital size (burdensome) but it makes the dining experience more practical and enjoyable. Tremors, neuropathy, Parkinsons, MS and other issues that may be temporary or chronic can get some of the stress and functionality issues into enjoying the simple pleasure of eating dinner or a cup of coffee on the couch or chair.I am not related to AMAZON, but my relationship with my brother is important to our whole family. His safety and comfort needs 2,000 miles away needs a gift like this.Great Holiday gift!

This is just right for the small space beside my recliner. It has enough room for my drink, the remote, tissues and phone. And it is easy to move if necessary. The assembly was very simple, only about 10 minutes. The enclosed instructions were ok, and I also found a short video demonstrating the assembly. All in all, a good purchase.

I'm temporarily bed ridden and needed to charge and store my phone etc close to bed. Thought this with raised sides and over all description would work. First it doesn't slide far enough under my bed. Not the products fault, the bed. And the tray is too small. Like design and color but may need to do more measurements
