Been flying helicopter for 20 years....sure wish this technology was around then I would have saved a lot of money...love this little helicopter and yes if you have any common sense pretty much anyone could keep this helicopter in the air and maneuver it around and learn....yes I would recommend

The help took off using the takeoff button and never came down. Had to hit stop button and that was it. Not fun at all to lose 200+ dollars

Flutes well, great stability in air even with a bit of breeze. Functions well with regard to the remote control. Battery life could be better but is pretty good. Charges well. Fairly easy to use even for a new user.

C189 Remote Control Helicopter, 2.4G 6CH UAV 1:28 Brushless MotorPros: easy to fly, optical flow sensor (which can be disabled), spare parts are available for repairs, and 3 speeds.Cons: Some reflective surfaces can be a challenge for the optical flow sensor, but this can be disabled therefore I’m not sure this is really a Con.Tip: I used a small safety pin to enlarge the antenna hole just a little on the fuselage, then super glued it, otherwise the antenna end kept bending trying to get it into the tiny hole and would have eventually broken off.I performed a successful flight in the yard and had no issues hovering in place although the wind was very minimal. I was anticipating Optical Flow issues based on reviews I’ve seen online and was prepared to disable it if necessary.I was surprised at the power and maneuverability of this small-scale Heli, and I think it’s a good-looking item to add to your collection to just have fun and not overthink the flight process.I’ve already ordered some spare batteries, and propellers in addition to the included propeller set, and two batteries.Unfortunately, my dog wanted to play catch with it and ran towards it while I was flying it in a small space in the house and had to quickly maneuver the Heli away from his face and the Heli flew into the wall. All the blades were damaged, the front fuselage/battery cover flew off. I installed the spare blades, and it seemed to fly ok, but I must test it out further. The crash is my fault, and I’ll choose my dog’s safety any day, but I would advise anyone to make sure people or pets are a safe distance away because this thing moves fast and can seriously hurt someone.Overall, this is a very fun small-scale Heli.
