The C555 Concrete Moisture Meter provides fast, non-destructive preliminary moisture measurements on smooth, firm concrete to help pinpoint problem areas and determine where to place Rapid RH L6 Smart Sensors.
Built-in sensors measure ambient temperature and relative humidity.
The included On-Demand Calibrator allows fast, easy user-calibration. A NIST-traceable version, with a certificate of calibration, can also be purchased.

What is a Concrete Moisture Meter?
Our C555 effectively assesses the dryness in the top ½ inch of smooth concrete slabs. It is an easy, quick, and useful first step that you can take when evaluating a concrete slab that will be receiving some flooring finish.
“Goodbye” to the days of confusion, waste, or extra work, and “hello” to the days of saving effort, time, and money. When assessing your concrete, you want an easy and nondestructive tool to set you up for success.
The C555 does exactly that.
It is easy to use and the only concrete moisture meter in the market that allows for in-field calibration. This makes it easier to meet the calibration requirements of ASTM F2659.

C555 Concrete Moisture Meter Kit contains On-Demand Calibrator
If you are ever unsure whether the C555 Concrete Moisture Meter is calibrated, an On-Demand Calibrator platform is included to allow the user to calibrate the C555 back to original factory standards in less than a minute. The calibration process is simple and fast so that the user can very quickly get back to using the C555 with as little delay as possible.
The C555 features an alarm audio sound that corresponds to a high moisture content alarm threshold, within the Standard Measurement mode, and programmable to sound the alert at readings from 0.0 to 6.9. This function is perhaps most useful when scanning a section of concrete to locate higher moisture content areas without continually looking at the digital display.

I am an inspector and use it to test the moisture content of concrete slabs mostly. I have used the Tramex meter in the past. This one is more affordable so I took a chance and am happy I did. I actually like the way it works better and the accuracy seems comparable. I would definately recommend this meter.
