I ordered these for my Minelab Equinox 800 and Manticore metal detectors. They are a perfect fit for the coil cable and provide better visibility as well as protection for the coil against scrapes or snags in the fields.

Like many reviewers have noted, this item generally does what it is supposed to do, but the end definitely frays very easily. I read the installation tips others gave and still found the end completely frayed and it was a challenge to stop it. I ended up using some electrical tape to wrap the end and also hold it in place. It ideal, but not a deal-breaker for me.

This cable cover is a perfect fit for my Simplex+ and Equinox 700. They add an extra layer of protection and look great. No need to cut or use a hot knife if you scan the link to their 1:30 YouTube video on the packaging. I did use zip ties at both ends to keep them secured to the cable. Perfect fit and length.

A little tip for putting the skin on. Before threading it, wrap the end of the cable in a small baggie, secure with tape ( I had a bandaid laying around) IT WILL PREVENT fraying of the end of the product. Came out amazing!

I purchase two of these to install on both my coils on my Nokta Makro Legend Metal Detector - the fit regarding diameter and length were perfect I love the different color schemes available. I feel this is a necessary added level of protection to prevent nicks and cuts on the cable connecting my coils the controller I definitely recommend this product
