換装で不要になったｍSATAを入れるケースとして使用しています。USBメモリーと比べると幅が大きいので隣に干渉するのは避けられませんがポータブルSSDのような大きさでもないし必要ならUSB3.0延長ケーブルで回避できるので気にならないです。当分は旧SSDのバックアップとしてケース利用となりますがいずれはフォーマットしてモバイルSSDとして活用を考えています。いちおうハーフサイズのｍSATAも取り付け可能のようです。そのためのビスとドライバーも付属していましたので取り付けに困ることはないです。あと見えづらいのですがインジケーターLEDがありますのでそれらが必要な方には良いのかな？蓋と土台こそプラスチックだけど外装はアルミなので放熱という点では良いのかも。日本でのレビューがなかったけど私は買って良かったと思います。

Cheaply made. The item came with one of the screws stripped on the back plate. Wasn’t even screwed in all the way, and was at an angle. It doesn’t seem to securely hold the ssd in place, you can feel movement inside the case when you pick it up or hold it. On the positive side it does work well when i plug into my computer, good read/write speeds. Just wish the enclosure was a little more durable..

I’ve not had great luck with ssd adapters but this one works fantastically. I have a Samsung 850 500gb ssd and as you can see in the pic it reads and writes close t 300mb/s. Have done real world tests on my laptop with Raid 0 ssds and it wrote around 220 so it is very fast.My only concern is that it is fully enclosed and will get noticeably warm and even hot to the touch. I don’t know what this will do to the longevity of the ssd but just be forewarned.
