This Cahaya carbon fiber acoustic electric guitar sure is stunning to look at. The high gloss black finish with the rounded back is light and a marvel to view. The look of the headstock and the inlays on the neck give this a real guitar feeling. The sound of this guitar is beautiful, warm lows with a crisp middle. It is the high-end sound that I don't care for much, a little tinny. Even when plugged into the amp the top end is tinny sounding, though the bass and mid sound really good, although the tuner works pretty well. It turns from blue to green when in tune. It comes with a really good, zippered case that protects the guitar very much in its travel, quite nice. The guitar strap that comes with it is a quality strap, not like most straps that come new with a guitar. It's a fine guitar, carbon fiber finished with a well-polished look

Looks like I’m the first person to review this guitar. I’m 67 been playing 53 years and professionally for 45 years also worked in the retail music store industry practically my whole life. I worked in a music store 25 years ago and we were a dealer for Rainsong guitars which were carbon fiber either entirely or carbon fiber back and sides with a traditional wood top so I had a real life working experience with a guitar like this one. First this guitar package way exceeds its price. The gig bag alone would easily be over $100.00 dollars it’s heavily padded with lots of pockets. The fit and finish on the guitar is incredible it’s like glass almost. It does come with both strap buttons which is mandatory on a guitar like this. It is very lightweight perfect for those of older and with back problems. The tone is bright but with a nice presence of mid tones and the bass is very punchy. Out of the box playability was good but with a quick tightening of the truss rod made it even better. Be aware there’s no instruction manual and it does not come with a battery so have a 9volt battery ready for when it arrives. The tuners are your generic ping style but they are very smooth and they do keep the guitar in tune. It has a round back so it’s not the easiest guitar to play without a strap because it will be constantly slipping off your lap. Also be aware that when removing the tuner to install the battery it was very tight it took my wife and I together to get it out of the guitar to install the battery. Plugged in it has a lot of volume to it and does sustain well so be aware of feed back and start with your volume low. The fret work on this is as good as any other guitars out there frets are polished and filed so there are no frets bulging or poking out. Really this is an incredibly good guitar. At $299.00 with a $20.00 coupon off there’s nothing to think about. My advice buy it.
