I laid a bare steel ball pien hammer just inside a window. A tropical ocean surf crashing just 200 ft away. Two drops of protector smeared im into a half dollar size circle. I forgot about the hammer for several months. When I stumbled across it, the circle was untouched. The rest of the hammer head was deeply corroded. The only competitor to the Caig is the waxy spray anti corrosion inhibitors or clear silicone grease. And they are absolutely unsuitable for electronic connections.Conclusion? Caig S100L is unique.
