I love these gloves have been using them for stick welding and I can't feel the heat! I love the fact that they come up to my elbow so it makes it easier to post up on a project to remain steady. Down side not much dexterity but I will sacrifice that for not burning myself. They are very comfortable and easy to maneuver.

i do not recommend if you do a lot of overhead welding especially with inner shield flux core , burnt thru them on my second day using them unfortunately, these gloves need to be thicker, they simply shouldn’t even be mug gloves they’re more like tig gloves

Very pleased with fit, comfort, durability, construction quality and aesthetics of these gloves as well as the price. They work great for working in the woods where snakes could be nearby. I highly recommend these gloves and plan to buy another pair soon!

I know it's dumb. But i use these for stick welding. Better dexterity, and still good flame and heat resistance.

I’m in welding school. These barely lasted a month before my middle finger was exposed and being burned. The second day with these the left index finger seam opened and the leather separated from the rest of the glove. All the seams on my left glove are blown out by week 2. I have been wearing a heat shield on top of my left glove because of all the abuse this hand has apparently taken in such a short amount of time that maybe extended its life. But they just don’t hold up. I couldn’t imagine welding 10-12 hours a day for weeks on a job site.I am in GMAW, FCAW AND SMAW. Classes where we weld for 3 hours a day in each discipline. It sucks that they didn’t hold up because the inside of the glove is literally magical. They are very comfortable. Just not durable.

Subes por dentro y rudos por fuera, protege muy bien a quemadura por soldadura. Aunque un poco alto el precio en relación a otros vale la pena por su calidad

My husband had a pair of Caiman full length gloves just like these, but the brown ones that he loved so much for his ability to move logs around in the fire with. These are the same, but in his favorite color scheme. Don't worry, his old ones are still living a great life with his father, they were still in perfect working order. My husband got these and so far, they've been working in very much the same way. These are super high quality work gloves (though I hate calling them that, because the term "work gloves" makes them sound low quality, when they're the furthest from that). He has been able to use them for a host of things that I'm pretty sure they aren't being marketed for, nor were intended for their use. Sticking your hands directly into fire, for example, to pick up a burning log and move it to a better position. Rough play with the dogs that don't have great bite impulse control. That sort of thing.I'm not suggesting you follow in his footsteps, just trying to get y'all to understand how amazing the quality is of this pair of gloves.

Stitching isn't as good as I would have liked on the left glove. They missed a piece of leather in the lower palm area right below the thumb where I tent to get a lot of wear when welding. I sewed in an extra piece of leather and over-sewes it on the seam. I assume these are manufactured in China. The insullation factor is quite good and the gloves are comfortable. I purchased the XL and it would have been a little better if they made these in a 2xl as they are a little snugger than I would have liked. I'm hopine the tightness is due to the insullation and they will wear in a little. The material quality is excellant.
