I purchased a pair back in March, within a month the left earbud stopped working. Thinking I did something purchased another pair and the same thing happened within 2 months.

First the left side went out less then 6 days old now they won't turn on after charging for 24 hrs. Not nearly as quite as my walker earmuffs that are rated to 25db. Don't buy! contacted manufacturer no response. Wasted my money

I bought a pair of these (on sale) for a friend I liked them so much. Using an older Apple phone the buttons work with music. The double tap is great for sound pass through when you need to clearly hear someone or something (such as hunting in the woods where there are brown bears) while still having good sound dampening for use with firearms and work tools. Battery last fairly well on blue tooth without the pass through system on (you can use both at the same time) and the reason I keep two pairs is so I always have one charged up. Not a lot of noise from the wires rubbing but it could irk some people. Lots better than over the ear for everyday use IMO. I should buy another just incase I cannot find them in another year. Oh, they also stay in my ears better than most headphones and almost as good as standard foam earplugs.

Best purchase, even use them outside the range

These Caldwell E-Max Power Cords are not that bad. I used them for an 8 hour range day and had absolutely no issues. They are about half the price of the name brand ones. If you use the foamy earpiece tips, you can get a good seal. Ambient mode is good for using when I’m at the range. I can still hear conversations but it blocks out the loud gunfire. They are especially good for rifle use, because they aren’t bulky, have a good seal, and don’t get easily knocked out of place. I use the music mode for when I’m mowing the lawn. I can hear only the music and the sound of the lawn mower gets blocked out. I don’t listen to music while using the ambient mode, because the music plays too quietly. I can hear wind noise a little bit and the microphone does get scratchy when the cord rubs up against things. But not enough to make me quit using these for ear protection. Battery last a long time. The Bluetooth is super easy to pair and works well with my iphone7.

These are an incredible value for the money! They work flawlessly. I dont like wearing cans, and these are the perfect option. All the guys i shoot with are moving to them too. They are much easier to wear when shooting long range.

Like most reviews on the Caldwell Power Cords these have the same issue. They amplify the noise from the cord rubbing on your jacket or hair or... whatever. Really annoying. Glad I returned within the window. I've tried many of these and the best to date for a sub - $500 electronic earbud is the walker silencer BT 2.0. The concept is good but there is just too much noise. I wanted to use these for duck hunting and the sound is aweful. When you blow a call there is not a realistic sound that you hear. Makes it hard to call to ducks when the sound is so bad...

These earphones did not last 60 days of light daily use. Right side started to cut in and out. Sound quality was OK, but the protection was not very good. I would not recommend these.
