I have a 2012 Chevy Impala LTZ which I have owned since 2013. I bought these calipers to replace my front calipers because one was sticking. I, also, replaced the rotors and pads. They fixed the problem I was having and so far after two months are still working great. I keep my cars looking good but these calipers within two months have developed a surface layer of rust. The reason I found this is because I was waxing the rims which are stock. The back calipers, which are original, show no signs of rust.

Calipers look ok except for the boots on the slide pins. Boots are thin and cheap looking plastic and not rubber. My concern is will they hold up and not fall apart.
