The first hood I received had some pretty major damage. The second one didn't have any major damage but whatever they used as the finish left a lot to be desired. It appeared that is was applied on a dirty hood there was like sand underneath it. Where the scoop was mounted on the hood was especially bad with bubbles. I was tired of messing with it and paid an extra $300 to have them sand it down and prime it. Not sure if I expected too much or if this is normal so I gave it 3 stars.

I have 2024 JLU Sport. Fits perfect it was super easy and took about 45 minutes to get it lined up and tightened. The matte black primer looks good and I put a coat of ceramic on it and may leave it to match my hardtop standard black. You simply use all your factory hardware it all just screws right in. Great value for the money .

I bought this hood because it was cheaper than the DV8 hood for the my JL. I made the mistake of painting it before checking that everything was in the box. The hood look nice once i got matched pain to my jeep but NOW the two Plastic insert can't be installed because there were not screw send with the box. I contacted Amazon support, but they wanted me to return the Hood, i would be out of $450 that cost me to have painted. If the vendor is reading this please send me the screw for the two plastic insert, or tell me what screw to get so I can finished the Hood ... Thanks.
