Amazingly good. A loud "Ding Dong", just like at a convenience store. It's so loud that I covered the speaker holes with tape.Both Motion detectors work on battery power or USB. (I'm powering with USB into an outlet.) And the alarm speaker part is Outlet power only.There are many selectable alarms. I just stuck with the normal ding dong sound.

This is such a wonderful investment for a good nights sleep for all of us taking care of my dementia mother.I can sleep peacefully knowing the "doorbell" will go off if she even puts her feet out of the bed. It alerts me upstairs in my bedroom. I set the alarm every night ( plug it in wall socket and turn on her sensor device downstasirs at the foot of her bed) then unplug when I get up and turn hers off. Not a big deal for such a great peace of mind! LOVE it!

love it I don't plug it in till I am ready to go to bed.i have a sleep walker and if they go near doors ,....alarms goes off so I can direct them back to bed.Best thing since white bread. Buy it u will not disappointed.

Only on/off switch is on the sensor. Once placed near floor or under bed, that is not convenient for when you are by the bed assisting the elderly.Only other option to stop the alarm is to unplug receiver ever time. Not ideal.

Ordered this for my mom when my grandpa was discharged from the hospital. It didn’t arrive until he had been there for a day, and in that time he already had a nasty fall. Since installing (one under his bed and the other facing the doorway), we ALWAYS know when he is on the move. My mom said she gets much more restful sleep not having to always keep one ear open for any noise coming from his room since he won’t call for help. Highly recommend to anyone needing a product like this. And she said it definitely wakes you up out of your sleep.
